New EG project: Angel Heart chapter 38

I wanted to do this project a while ago, but couldn’t get around to it. I guess with the release of the anime, it seems like the best time to bring this relatively unknown manga to light. This is my own project, that I’ve picked up from after the prior scanlator dropped it, I may or may not start from the beginning depending on how much time I have.
For those of you who don’t know what Angel Heart is, it is considered the sequel to Ciy Hunter, however, set in an alternate future, where some of the character’s histories are completely rewritten, in which Kaori Makimura is dead and her heart transplanted to a ruthless female assassin. The quote below contains more information.
A young Taiwanese assassin codenamed “Glass Heart” committed suicide by jumping off a building, and her heart was pierced by metal fence. Miraculously, her life was saved by heart transplantation. During her recovery she began to experience strange dreams, which led her to Japan looking for the donor of her heart, who happens to be Kaori Makimura, former partner of City Hunter.

PS: really wish I knew japanese, I would’ve loved to help out with the translating.

We do have all the raws from volume 1 through 16 of Angel Heart. However we picked up after another group dropped the manga. I’ll let Eldo fill you in on the details, however if we feel that it could be done better, we might re-scanlate those previous volumes.
Eldo will post with more information later, once he is awake. He lives on the other side of the world.

i think you guys need to do over the val. from 1-16, but please dont slow down on the releases of berserk and zetman…. also do u guys know if the anime project for berserk stopped for good?

What do you mean exactly? The berserk anime was a one shot series to garner interest in the manga. The producers would love to make a season 2 (or more), that was made known in DVD interviews, however there has been NO word either rumor or from the horses mouth that there will be a season 2.

Thanks so mcuh for scanlating “angel heart” !! I absolutely love it ! Also, great to read when theres no new anime ep avail.
I can’t believe the bittorrents were so fast n wasnt dead like most sites with bittorrent links for manga dl.

hello guys,
i want to ask you where i can find the first volumes of Angel Heart scanlating in english?
This site is the only one i found which scanlates AH but it’s a pity it lacks the previous chapters.
Anyway, I also want to tell ya guys are doing a great job!! keep up!
