Specular bloom is used to give the elf's knife a dramatic appearance
On the left is source art comprised of 1.2 million polygons On the right is the resulting in game model comprised of just a couple thousand polygons
Dwarf: Artists created a custom skin shader for this character, approximating the subtle effect of subsurface scattering
The Offset map editor NOTE: Interface not yet finalized!

Wow! Looks hot. My graphics card won't cut it -- I wonder if that will run on one of
these .
Looks like these guys have taken advantage of the light scattering research done for SIGGRAPH 2001 -- it's about time that made it into a game.

I don't have the PC for that, but it does look fantastic. Will have to wait and see how it comes out.

The First question: Will there be Necromancers or just wizards. I hate good mages.

I've been following this project for a while since I showed interest in their other game Savage. Seems cool to me, I like the whole immersion with the envioment and the multiplayer seems cool. War taking many smaller battles.
