
That is ok, today's lesson is going to be all about how to revive a dead thread without double posting.
What: Editing your last post does not make the thread 'new' again, yes even I thought that phpBB had some trickery up their sleeve but I assure you they do not and no one cares about making a mod for it.
How: You make sure your post is the last one in the thread, and you copy it (Highlight, Ctrl-C). You then delete your previous post, and make a new post with your old content plus your new content! This makes the thread appear fresh to the forums.
Why: Because it is good fricken manners to not double post. This applies to folks that have additional information or wish to address a different topic/person. This way the people coming after you and read and understand the flow without having to deal with BS and redundant stuff.
This will merged into the Guidelines as a better explanation to the double post problem.
