I just noticed that you had Astal in there.

That game is really good, and really underrated like many games on the Saturn. Amazing graphics, great artwork, and sound blessed by the gods them selves. (Especially for those days.)

If you liked Astal, I recomend Legend of Oasis. That game owns. I liked it more than Link to the Past.

Kings Quest 7 with the princess and the beast was funny. And Do you mean Myst? Or what was Mist again?

I've been wanting to lock this thread for a while too.

Somebody give me a good reason not to.

Because David Leterman tells me Top Ten lists are good, and if he is wrong, I don't want to know what right is!

...

Honestly, I dunno why we need to lock it, just let it die out like every other thread. We don't have to lock the others when we are done with them, we just let them die. Plus it gives everyone a good idea of what kinds of game people around here like. Rather than just saying "I like RPGs", you can build on that idea and discuss with other fans of the genre and see why they like those other games.

It's no skin off of my back if you lock it, I just think the thread has some usefulness left in it.

Fine, I won't lock it.

My problem with these kind of thread is that they never die and just become an easy source for spam. After checking some of it out though, it does seem like there is some discussion going on here so I'll let it be.

My top 10 adventure games (not in order):

1) Monkey Island series (this counts as one though, even though I loved them all, heh)
2) Grim Fandango
3) Day of the Tentacle
4) Haunted Mansion
5) Blade Runner
6) Sam and Max hit the road
7) Full Throttle
8) Gabriel Knights
9) Neverhood
10) Beneath a Steel sky

Damn, I've got so many I love. Most of them are LucasArts, and I miss the good ol' days.
