Your Top Ten games of any genre you like. If you like RPGs, then post your top ten RPGs, you like FPS, then post your top ten FPS and so on.

This thread does not have to be all lists, discuss about peoples list to your hearts content. Hopefully this will put a charge for people that don't read this forum as often to jump in on all the fun.

Any who, I am going to start with......

Top Ten RPGs of all Time

1. Phantasy Star IV
2. Final Fantasy VI
3. Chrono Trigger
4. Panzer Dragoon Saga
5. Vagrant Story
6. Dragon Force
7. Secret of Mana
8. Albert Odyssey
9. Final Fantasy Tactics
10. Ogre Battle 64

Figure I would start with RPGs because I know almost every one on teh interweb plays them.

I know you like Dragon Force, but number 1? I also didn't think you liked Lunar that much. And where is the Chrono Trigger....

I played Dragon Force the most out of all those games and you know it. I played Chrono Cross like 7 times, i just liked it, (dare i say) more than Chrono trigger. right on Darken, Last Blade 2 was da shiz, liked the first one more though.

Everybody should give these games a try.

That was my post in that old thread. As far as I general lists go, I guess I'd bump Xenogears out of there since a story doesn't make the game and Xenogears' gameplay wasn't that appealing to me. I'd probably put Ikaruga to replace it since it's given me many hours of pure gaming bliss ever since I bought it. I feel dirty using Last Blade 2, since I haven't played it as much as I wish I had. Playing teh romz on my computer always put me off.

Samurai Shodown 4 sucks. It's broken as hell and the CD combo thing sucks and doesn't fit with the feel of a Samurai Shodown game. If you want Samurai Shodown goodness, play Shin Samurai Spirits or Zero/Zero Special.

Didnt take nothing personal Femto, i respect your opinion, you are right though, Uyko is really cheap with his apple slice and the final boss is very cheap with his ball, i just really liked the characters and story. (RPGer at heart

1. sadly yes Counter-Strike, its the only game that i can truly go back and enjoy at anytime and for hours on end.
2. Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty- Fuck all you Raiden haters.
3. Metal Gear Solid (yes i liked the second one more then the first one)
4. Ninja Gaiden, this is how a ninja game is. Ryu Hayabusa> all other ninjas.
5. Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher's Bay- umm Riddick and his knife shanking neck snapping and just plain awsome nightvision ablility is just too cool.
6. Manhunt- hate me for this one, but this game was just sooooooooo cool that it just has to be on my list.
7. SVC:Chaos yes the crappier fighter. i dono but i just like the sprites in the game, Balrog just looks to cool and ownage.
8. KOTOR- best starwars game ever?? best rpg ever??
9. Final Fantasy 8- I enjoyed it a lot and i loved the card game... spent sooo many hours getting all the cards..
10. Resident Evil 4- This i how the RE series should be like! The many hours spent on Mercenaries... It was all worth it.

Ha ha ha, it's alright man, my brother won't cry about how you are mean to him. Hell, I roast him for his opinions on games all the time. He is used to it.

Some of those aren't bad games. They just don't appeal to me. The only bad games to me I would have to say are SVC: Chaos and Manhunt.

I'm sure alot of people here don't dig the MKII on my list.

I just think, and I am not the only one, that Manhunt should not be considered good. It should not be on the same planet as good.
