I am torn on the topic, I like them both a whole lot. I think Castlevania DS will probably take the crown when that comes out, the movies look sick. But we shall see I guess.

They must have knocked Ayami Kojima(my baby) out when she did the art for Dawn of Sorrow. It's so bad compared to all her others.

I must admit, a really good collection indeed. Mine doesn't even come close to it. I also saw the old Nintendo Gamepads. It's been ages since I saw that one. Brings old memories back, even though I didn't play much Nintendo. And I really like that Street Fighter Anniversary arcade stick or something. Looks HOT.
If you plan on giving it away, i'll give you my address :D

I've seen him flip that TV in person people, and it is not a small task at all. He doesn't even want me to touch it either, he does it by himself. I find it hilarious because he looks like he's gonna bust a nut each time he hoists it up. And you'd think that since I've known the guy and been over to his place for about 5 years now, that I could work his sound system and his game rig, but if you put a gun to me head and said "I want to play Dreamcast, make it happen." I would be a gonner.

Is there a reason the TV is flipped? Is it for shooters or something?

Like Ayanami said yeah, it is for shooters, reason being is that with Vertical shooters like Ikaruga, Dodonpachi, Castle Shikigami, Radient Silver Gun, Guwanji, GigaWing, etc., you only see a small portion of the playing area since home TV's are wide screen. When the game is put into what is known as (I believe) "Tate" or "Arcade Mode", the entire game flips 90 Degrees, utilizing the wide screen of the TV, thereby making the gaming area bigger. Ayanami can add on if I forgot/messed up anything.

Possibly a bad example, but here's what I found in 5 minutes of looking, from Ikaruga:

Unflipped, right out the box version (GC Port):

Flipped, Hardcore Shooter-Man version (DC):

Sorry Tempest to shit on your parade, but there are some minor mistakes.

First off, while Radiant Silver Gun and Giga Wing are verts. You can not flip the TV for them because they were made on a traditional 4:3 ratio. So no flipping for those.

Next, about your screenshots....

Both of those screens are flipped TV screens......

OK, that's fine, I don't play shooters enough to notice or care about that, I assumed all verts could be flipped

OK, how the fuck can you tell? I thought the dead space on the GC was a dead giveaway to non-flipped. Ergh.

Ha ha ha, well, the interface does not over lay on the screen on home mode. It is only during TATE when that happens. The interface is in the black vert letter box in home mode.

Shooter newb. :kekeke:

EDIT - Oh and another thing, the black bars would have been on the side, not top and bottom like a traditional letter box style.

And get MSN messenger, AIM will not work on my new comp for some reason.

I am dead serious, I tried downloading the latest AIM when I got my comp, it would not boot after the first time I used it. I know trying to get you guys to switch to the better messenger is pulling teeth, so I was just going to use both.

Better, sure why not, but I already have AIM and I can talk to way more of the uneducated masses. As much as I love talking to you and Femto, you're the only 2 I know who use it. And check your private messages, so we can stop boring people with personal drama... you bastard.
