Yeah, Majora's Mask was a minor fuck-up. But that's what happens when you've got a new producer/director and a bunch of unused (some, for a very good reason) ideas left over from the last game. Aonuma proved he was on top of his game with the Wind Waker, though.

Pfft fanboy debates!! Windwaker whole sea concept ruined the game and we all know majora's mask was bad. I also dislike the Oracle games but truthfully I don't think it's the greatest thing on earth. Maybe because it's nothing but a game that gets more praise then it deserves, like many others(ex. final fantasy, metal gear, madden). Great games but are always shown better then they actually are.

Anyway I think I will like the horseback riding in Shadow of the Colossus a whole lot more then that of Twilight Princess(if zelda gets kidnapped again).

ehh the only problem i have is that Link is a little bitch... whines like a mother fucker when something small happens to him. They need the Soul Caliber style Link in a Zelda game...

What are you talking about? Link is a badass! He's a fucking 10 year old kid that goes on to become the Hero of Time!

And Majora's Mask was nowhere near a bad game, it was just not up to the standards of other Zelda games. Wind Waker is awesome. If you think it's not it's because you haven't played it.

No that is when someone says FF:Tactics sucks(actually they don't make it past the fifth fight). I already told you why I dislike Windwaker, and I don't think I have to repeat it. You are just acting out of anger of this view of mine which shows how the series gets overrated. Maybe Majora's mask being bad is because a link to the past is way way better, just like how episode 1,2, and 3 of star wars all suck. It could be a fan thing but still such things are overrated. Don't tell me what I've played and haven't, you wouldn't know because you are not close to me. And as I said already common franchises get more praise then they actually deserve.

This gave me teh lolz. I wasn't angry or even agitated when I posted that. Would a smiley next to it have helped you understand that it was just a joke at best?

So you didn't like the sailing aspect of Wind Waker? That's fine with me, but saying that it ruined the game is ludicrous. If you say Majora's Mask is a bad game, then it's more understandable, but Wind Waker is a really good game. I agree that some mainstream games get more respect than they should (GTA, Halo, Madden), but saying that Zelda is overrated is just false. Ocarina of Time is probably the best game ever and Link to the Past and Wind Waker are gems. The fact that it's mainstream doesn't necessarily make it overrated, games like Metal Gear Solid 3 and Devil May Cry 3 deserve all the praise they get because they are really good games. Zelda in particular is a series that you can consistently expect good things from.

My take on this whole thing is that you're pissed because you're thinking I'm some Nintendo fanboy that is biased towards a particular series, Zelda in this case, and will stick with it until the end. Just so you know, I don't even own a Gamecube, I just recently finished Wind Waker because a friend of mine lent me his. I just happen to recognize a good game when I play it, save for a few guilty pleasures of mine of course. The only one coming across as a fanboy here is you, with your fanboyish reply and whatnot.

BTW, you never said if you played Wind Waker or not.

Buz: Doom 3 maybe?

blah in my point of view... Zelda is like Final Fantasy, those series were built on something big and are expected to keep that "awsome game" idea. But lately they havent been able to reproduce that same action. Then we have fan boys and what not. Either way the lastest games of the Zelda series have not been up to par with the previous games. They werent bad, but most people, including me, were expecting more.

I am not a Zelda fan boy but I think wind waker was awesome. Series I think are truly over rated are the Final Fantasy series, Mortal Kombat series, Halo, and most of all, the GTA series. I will admit though I can be an elitist whore when it comes to games sometimes.

heh all this zelda talk made me go back and finish Zelda:OOT the master one or something lol.
