Doesn't matter where you live! All I have to say about Norse mythology Image Yes, I'll have some of the goddess.

Ja man! :b Thought it was odd that Libax never commented it, niether Lord Mune commented.

Hakuna Matata :P

The only real interesting point about Norse Mythology that I can think of is how they are all destined to die at one glorious battle. Funny isn't it? how we praise those with lot's of knowledge and those that are really well educated but in this mythology it shows that the more you know the sadder it get. That is what Odin thought. The more knowledge he collected the more he knew about his own destiny to die and he couldn't do anything about it.

The most boring mythology is the roman as people have said cause they stole everything and have very little that is their own.

Hm, I really liked the part in Norse Mythology when Baldur was reborn, during Ragnarok. I wish I could read more about it though, as most of the stuff I've found online isn't very informative.

There are millions of books based on Norse mythology so you can find them most likely in your nearest libary

Femto You have to wait for Isse to tell you about his name cause that can mean diffrent things.

Ah basically it is words that that rhymes but If I just translate it the way it is right now it would be:

Isse (my nickname) - Pisse (pee, urine) - Päron (Pear) - Pung (balls, testicles)

May be quite boring if for someone who isn't familiar with swedish but over here it's quite fun.

speaking of names and mythology.... where did you guys come up with your nicks for the forum.... seems like a lot of them might be based in mythology.

here is where mine comes from... has to do with chakras which were originaly an eastern ideal and in sanskrit i think.

LAYER 7 - KETHERIC or CAUSAL BODY (Mental Aspect)
The seventh layer is the Ketheric or Causal Body associated with the Divine or Universal Consciousness and is related to the Seventh (Crown) Chakra. The causal body contains the life plan or "soul contract" and reflects all experiences and events that the soul has ever experienced and is the level directly related to the current incarnation. The ketheric body is the purest form and link to God, within each of us. This layer is on a level that cannot be experienced from the limiting viewpoint of ego. It extends two feet up to three and one half feet in an oval shape around the physical body.

I have no idea were your name comes from Femto,or I do now,saw a hilarious picture of "Femto" in the mugshot thread.

My name isnt anything to do with mythology, its the name of the great warrior and king of the Zulu tribe.Arguably the greatest king in africa's history. The African version of Napeleon in a way, took over large parts of south/central africa. The Zulu tribes mythology was mighty interesting though.

In Civilization II the zulu's were my favorite civilization to play and they were lead by Shaka Zulu, so I know who he is. Also found out about Genghis Kahn among others from that game, and people say we don't learn anything from games. But Shaka Zulu does fall in the badass category.

Femto where does your name come from, seems familiar but can't place it. :kekeke:

Yeah Shaka Zulu is indeed bad ass,He killed and starved like 2000 people to mourn his mothers death...

But still one of the greatest tacticians and warriors in the history. Not all of them are entirely good guys(what ever that means;)) Like the Vikings,or Attilla The Hun who was a great warrior king but was simply a destroyer instead of a trying to civilize.

I take it Femto is a character from Bezerk, have only read like 1-2 volumes of Bezerk(please dont shoot me ).

Not much of PC gamer, ispecially tactical games. But I didnt know there was a game were you could control the Zulu nation ;)

I like strategy games, and the Civilization series is one of the greatest series of all times. They just picked great nations and their great leaders, but other then the name and the color their was no difference between them, though Civ III they made them different.

Femto is Griffith when he is a member of the God Hand. That was his new name.
