With counterstrike does it do it playing multoplayer or single player? If it is multiplayer it could be your NIC if it is single player the chances are its something else, maybe your graphics card or something. Since counterstike used to work it coudl possibly be hardware this time, or could be software since you did reformat, or did counterstike work fine right after the reformat. But since you reformated some things may not be configured correctly anymore.

Im not even worrying bout counterstrike right now man. Im stressin over WoW. But yea CS did that during online play. Thats the only time i play it ...online.

The only reason I was aksing about it is because hte chances are they are caused by the same thing. Has counterstrike worked at all since the reformat, or did it stop working before the reformat?

Also try downloading new NIC drivers. Good chance it could be your NIC since it happens online.

soundcard? last night my roomate's problem was fixed by getting the newest soundcard DL's... sounds retarded but every time he tried to play a game it would fuck up and crash after a few minutes.

Okay, so i finally figured out the problem. Seems my video card fan was broke or some shit like that. So what my brother told me to do was, whenever i wana play to open the comp up and take my little miniture fan and set it up next to the cpu to keep it cool. And (even though its pretty damn ghetto) it works.

For anyone that wants too play with me

I'm usually on Laughing Skull and my characters name is Buzkashi im a a lvl 11 troll shaman. Yea i know im low but i jsut started.
