You may want to download the newest drivers for you video card. It is very likely a video issue. Just go to the website of hte video card manufacturer and get the latest drivers. Also may want to update all your other drivers too.

Yea i got the nvidia one for my geforce. And i can get the game starting now after some help from Blizzard Technical Support. (after being on hold for like 45 min that is). But now i can move around for like 5 seconds and it freezes and crashes again. Can anyone help me.

Yea. I meat all the requirements too. I jusst dont understand. But one thing i thnk it might be is something called a display driver but it doesnt say what for.

Display driver woudl be your graphics card driver,, which you say you already downloaded. You just reformatted right? Also are you withing recommended specs, or just withing required.

You probably need a new driver that supports the new direct x version. Older ones doesn't support it very well.

Where could i get one. Cause i got Directx v 9.0c . And i got htat Nvidia driver. So is there another driver i shoud get?

You got the newest NVIDIA driver? Also call WOW again they may be able to help. I would be getting pissed now if I was you. If you bitch and whine enough you can get miracles done with tech support people. Just suond pissed off. Or sound like you know what you are doing. Both will help you out gettnig better and faster service.

Also, what graphics card are you using?

If all else fails, whine and bitch to the helpline. Sound stressed, and use some intimidation tactic so they'll actually answer the question.

knowing your vid. card would be nice... and those other games are massive man. Doom 3 takes a shitload...

have you tried toning the graphics down in game?
is your desktop and game set at 800x600? should make it run a little better

if downloading the newest drivers didn't work i don't know what else would.

I got a geforce 4600. And I've called im twice. The first guy was great he walked me through like 5 differnet things to get it working. And i was able to actually play for a little bit with him. However then the game started to freeze and crash again. So i called again. The second guy was horrible. He would just say " uh huh" and " interesting" and " wow", and ask me if i tried this and that but no real soltions.

My bro has the same vid card, but he has no problems. If you can give the specs of your comp maybe people can be of more help. Make sure you have the lastest stuff like directx, drivers, or even check to make sure your comp is in working order.

Specs : Intel Pentium 4, 2.25ghz, 512mb of ram. I have directx ver. 9.0c. Nvidia geforce Ti 4600. Anything else i should put up?

And you are having problems...? your comp specs are not the problems from those numbers. Something else is wrong. What does it say when you cant install or w/e the problem is? Maybe like take a screen shot of it and maybe i can be of some help.

I can install, and I can even choose my characters. However when i join the server, no matter what server it is, it starts freezing uncontrolably and then crashes. The funny thing is it does this it just started doing it with CounterStrike too so it cant be the game. I just dont know whats wrong.
