Awesome!! finally more Berserk!!!! well two thing can happen, the first is if you in some point of your life know about this rare full of blood anime called Berserk and you watch it complete and in the end you get all WTF you WILL seach for the manga.
the other thing is that you know about this awesome never ending manga called Berserk and while you get old waiting for the next chapter you find that actually there is an anime of this so in the meanwhile you watch it and said: “DAMN!! THAT MONSTER JUST HIT THEM WITH HIS OWN CUT ARM!! THAT’S HARDCORE!!” also you can say “man! that didn’t happen in the manga”

(Seriously, who cares about speed when it comes to Berserk? Only extreme quality scanlations will do this manga justice. Comments about scanlation speed drive me mad, thankfully there aren’t any under this particular post…)
More on-topic, I especially liked… Well, actually I liked every single page: Isidoro playing hero (and the usual humor), Isma being confused (will she become a member of the group?), Guts kicking ass, the whole group endangered by his inner demon… And I somehow managed to survive the cliffhanger at the end!

Adding Isma to his group would add the element water. Wind (Serpico), Fire (Isidoro), Holy (Farnese), Darkness (Guts) are already in it. I’m wondering if Miura really wants to take this awesome manga to such a cliché level…

Wow great posts guys. I too am of the mind that it is the child of Guts and Casca that has once again reappeared to help them. It’s hard to say if it’s really the mutant baby spirit from before that lost it’s body in the psuedo-eclipse in Albion, but I think that event may have lead to him somehow getting a new more complete body. Honestly I hope Isma doesn’t join the group as a permanent member, but that really would allow her to fill the role of the water element, especially if she can become a mermaid. I’m not really sure I wanna see Miura go there, but we’ll see how it goes. Yeah this was a pretty sweet chapter though, and I’m also glad we’ll be getting at least one more before the end of the year.

@vashfanatic: i agree, the mutaded child entering the egg of the new world was imo “the jump of the fish”, in other words something not caused by the law of causalty and it will play crucial role in the proccess of Guts defeating the Grifith. This is the reason, why Skullknight (or rather his sword) hesitaded to kill the egg of the world right before the eclipse in albion, when he had the chance.
The egg of the world invited the mutaded Casca’s child into his body and said to him to have nice dream in the new world. The black haired child is imo the representation of this dream.

But that’s not what I wanted to talk about. I’m in the middle of reading again the whole berserk manga and there’s something veeery wrong with the chronology of the events! O.o
Ok… not the chronology but the times stated… I mean 1)Gut’s and Casca make sex… then the next day they go to save Griffith (or the days around that time because it said that three days later there appeared demons)
2) ok…I don’t know how much time they’ve traveled till they reached the city of Midland but I don’t think it was more than 2 or 3 days
3) they saved Griffith and I don’t think that there were again more than 2 or 3 days till the Eclipse (the ran non-stop fought with that dog demon and then Casca said that the band “will cross the border tonight and I don’t think they sat on that hill for 10 days)
4)after the Eclipse it’s stated that Guts was unconscious for 4 days then he runs out of the cave, meets Skull Knight, then orders him to take him to where Casca is and then Casca gives birth to his child… so far it’s ok… and then Skull Knight says “Your woman has been bearing it for months” WTF???? How come??? anyway I’ll be glad to hear your opinions! Maybe I missed something important. :/

As a matter of fact Caska gave birth to an embryo. She couldn’t have been pregnant for to long. You yourself said it: We don’t know how much time has been spent on the several journeys or while gathering the Hawks etc.
So how come SK makes such a statement? My first question is: Is the translation correct? Could it be that several month is equivalent to “quiet a while”? As long as SK didn’t watch them while having sex he shouldn’t know how long Caska really was pregnant, so my guess is it was just a situational statement of him.
An Embryo needs about 40 days to look human. When Caska gave birth it didn’t look human right away. It gained rapid growth though, maybe because of Femto’s demonic influence. If I had to guess I would say it was 20-30 days old. The embryo, that is…

Fun facts on pregnancy!
It takes more than a day, sometimes several, for sperm to even reach the eggs, implantation takes a little while after that.
It takes 14 days for the cells of a developing blastocyte to actually differentiate (i.e. be programmed to eventually become certain parts of the body).
It takes two full months to become a fetus, with developing organs etc.
So… unless we had some really big time-lags in there, I think we can safely say the quasi-humanoid form was demonically-induced. I’d give the time lags altogether to maybe a few weeks, certainly not months.

No. Griffith took body and spirit. It’s still there deep inside Griffith. Why else would Griffith save Casca from the falling boulders at the hill of swords? It was the child that influenced Griffith to do so. If you reread those episodes Griffith hints at him still being there in him. He does this before and after saving Casca. Also, if it gained a body after Ganishka exploded then how do you explain the boy and figure of light that brought Gats back from going Berserk on the beach with the Kushan crocodiles encounter?

ImpatientGuyAgain: if you’re done having bad grammar ;p then you might read the comments and see that the chapter has been delayed. Even if it came out on the 12th, it takes a couple of days to release it properly the way EG does. They are not a crappy speed group.

WAAAAA i dont understand! wth with gats child taking form when big monster exploded?? didnt the baby gats took his human form when that egg shaped golum took him inside him when griffith took his human body??
