Katakana makes me roffle; Baio Haza-do 5
Thankfully, I'm more of an SH person myself, so I don't really care about where RE goes.

Those may be modified pics of RE4 for all we can tell, I'm withholding judgement 'till we get a trailer or proper hi-res screenshots.

Capcom is still milking RE? IMO this series stopped at RE 2. I've played RE 3, Code Veronica and RE 4 but none of them were so good as 1&2.
This one stays at the store shelves for me.
EDIT: I was mixed up in the games. My friend has RE 4 and I've played it there. He said it was an OK game but didn't beat the first ones and I stand behind this evaluation.
You happy Femto?

RE4 is pretty good IMO. I like the first 2 better. But its not like re4 is bad. I had a shitload of fun playing it. End of story.

Meh, I agree with buz its good but not the best.
I think that it probably would had been the best if it did anything for the story. If anyone were to play it hoping to find out more about what hell is going on in the RE world will be desperately disappointed, I was atleast. *shrugs* But as far as gameplay and controls are concerend this one whups the others.

Femto; To each his own.
It was the depth of the story that drew me to the game. I found myself wanting to know more about what was going on then taking a shotgun to a zombies head ... well most of the time.
I'd say Gameplay > Story is more true about games like God of war, which I loved.

That didn't do much either, we found out she was still alive on part 2, she threw Leon the rocket launcher to finish the blob guy ... at least the silhouette looked like her.except that ada is alive eh?

Before you start getting offended by my comments (happens a lot it seems), I'm not trying to tell you which game is better, what you should play or how to think, I'm just giving you my opinions.
With that out of the way, Gameplay > Story is true for anything that can be called a video game. It could be that the story is better than the gameplay in a particular game, but gameplay will always be more important in the gaming world, there's no way around that. No game with a good story has withstood the test of time, because it's the gameplay that keeps them alive.
Now that I think about, if you thought that I was saying that the gameplay was better than the story in RE, then I apologize for making that unclear. I was speaking in more general terms, as in "gameplay is more important than the storylines."

How true...Darnoc wrote:And to interfere with the Gameplay>Story I have four words: Legacy Of Kain: Defiance
Playing the game was annoying as hell but the story was worth it

I like games with good, deep stories.
