Top 10 Manga?

Post by bildad_snobblepopkin »

I know this has been covered before, but I'm always in search of some good recommendations. What would you folks recommend?

Here's my 10, anyway:

1. Berserk - sacrifice of the B.O.T.H. = worst plot twist ever; yet still great
2. Naruto - nice balance of action/characterization
3. Full-Metal Alchemist - good for the same reasons as Naruto
4. Black Cat - shameless ripoff of Cowboy Bebop, but who cares?
5. Ranma 1/2 - needs no explanation
6. Battle Angel Alita - peaks midway through the series but still worthwhile
7. Hajime no ippo - very one-dimensional but still good
8. Tenjou Tenge - appealing sex/violence, although somewhat over the top
9. Urusei Yatsura - old but classic
10. Love Hina - liked the DVDs better but manga great too

/my two cents

Believe it or not, we already have a thread about top 10 mangas right here:

It's also a bad idea to start threads as your first post when you're new.
