Appleseed 2004

The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

its about the recent remake of Appleseed... i thought it was quite good... worthy of purchase... compared to the older version from 1994, its better since there arent as many plot holes plus theres top notch cg animation that just cant be over looked.... i would recommend it

The first Anime to come out was in 1988

Original movie:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0094668/

It was later remade and released in 2004.

I enjoyed it. There was a mix of almost every video-game I've ever played in there. Quite scary actually. Worth watching on a big screen and surround sound.
Officer Deunan Knute and her cyborg partner Briaros Hecatonchires must prevent terrorists from gaining control of the Olympus city computer and causing massive chaos. As they fight to stop the terrorists and preserve their society, the question of who is actually in the right--their society, or the "terrorists"--continues to arise.

hmm, boxtorrents is nice.

*edit: well I've watched it.
Great animation, superb artwork and actions sequences, and basically a good story, but SO many plotholes and unexplained action sequences, especially in the beginning.
