IRC help me!!

I finally got to use IRC using tunneling program because of this fucked up fire walled connection *sigh*
anywho, since i'm a noob with irc I would like to ask anyone to post a short -don't mind long XD- explaination of how it works. I asked one of my roommates to show me how, but it turned out he is worse than I am!
I remember there was I topic in DP explaining how it works, but I couldn't find it -I swear I did look-..

if the explaination was great, psi could always make it a sticky for future noobs

There's also a trigger in the channel by typing:

!help

in the channel. It should give you a notice to the link that psi29a.

i already sign for nick...n ... after sign n then got email n then confirm....everything smooth....

then i come again to irc.... they ask me to give the password.... i gave...but they say its wrong.....

whats the formula anyway????

btw: try to evilgenius irc channel but...nothing there...no one.... is it move???

make sure you scrpit it so that it automaticly registers you every time you open up IRC ( if you dont you have to type in your pw everytime)

as for the EG channel make sure you are on the correct server.
