Yay, new groups have taken this up. I have no idea where they release from, nor what they are called, but at least I can go on watching this series.
Anyone looking for eps I recommend downloading from Emule/Edonkey at the moment, but I'll search around and see whether I can't find the distro page or irc-room.
Unfortunately the subs aren't half as good as LMF, but it's almost enough to understand what's going on. (Ya, even with perfect subs I'm never too sure with Gits.)
Currently I dled up to 23 subbed, I haven't looked for anything beyond that, simply because my HDD is full once again. Time to burn away some porn.
*Edit* Screw all that, I dled raws of 22 and 23, but I found a source for 20, 21, 22 in one file, which may be subbed

That's just a tracker for different things.
There's an actual LMF page, but I don't know the exact url.
Edit: found it:

Best episode EVAR.
I especially liked the way
[HIGHLIGHT]
they reproduced the beginning of the manga in the end of the episode. And they got their suits and -chikomas from the manga, too (although the fuchikoma of the manga are more yellowish and LMF subbed it as "uchikoma", but they are otherwise more or less identical).

Yes, it's a great final ep.
I'm not sure how much real-life politics went into the ideas for this show. I must say I wasn't a friend of the anti-americanism displayed in the story. Not because I'm offended by it, but because it feels like a fashion right now to display "the Americans" as bad guys.
Nevertheless, a great second season. Now how are the chances for more GitS?
Had to love the scene where Ishikawa knocks out the guy in the car.
Plus that Tachikoma song was really powerful for me, for some reason.
