Keys for my viewsat satellite receiver,it catches all of the Dish network channel including PPV and major sports events for free.Afaik its illegal in USA,but there are no laws about it here in CANADA. 8)

I'm afraid my level of cryptographic expertise is limited here. Dish and DirecTV both have fairly weak crypto, but they tend to combat that with aggressive anti-piracy measures - particularly for modified receivers/smartcards.

I'd help if I could -- anything that screws over Dish is good news in my book. Best of luck.

If you're using modified equipment, however, and you get an error 217 or maybe it's 219, don't call Dish for technical help. That's the "spike" code -- it means your receiver has been targeted for deactivation on suspicians of piracy. Calling is only going to earn you a visit from the police.
