Pop songs you absolutly love when you hate pop

Post by Arresty »

OK, in case subject iddn't make sense. I love mainly classic rock, classic underground 80s metal, slayer metallic and stuff, not mainstream 80s, 90s and 80s, I also like underground punk(all pop punk officailly can suck my nuts) badns like pennywise and NOFX etc.. Ok well in gernally harder music. But for some strange reason I absolutely love Lisa Loeb - Stay. One of my favorite songs, fucked up as hell. Anyone else out there like that.

Sadly that justin timberlake song "cry me a river". They were making out in the bed room....I'm more of a EMO hater though.

i just dont like mathew good and all the other one man/woman singers out there that sing about NOTHING at all... all it is is just catchy tunes, beats and lyrics that sublimianlly force you to remember their shitty songs... pop music is a stiffling abyss that should be burnt away from the flesh of society....yeh

but what surprises me though is that eminem does pop music... that fucked up

Yeah...and I remembered it like yesterday when Britney Spears announced she will stay a virgin until she gets married...

Well, I think alot of teens listen to pop music because they are told to by magazines and TV. We'll all blind lambs to the slaughter, walking like mindless drones to the grinding machine. I could be wrong though, I don't listen to the radio anymore, so I don't know which songs are 'hip'. Instead, I listen to Jet: Get Born, Powderfinger, Regurgitator: Unit. The only pop music that I listen to are from anime, because I feel that song has a purpose and meaning, and reminds me of the anime. And that doesn't mean I like it either.

thats true eldo...i found out that thats the only reason i listen to anime music/j-pop... the memories ..

in any case i find that alot of the japanese music sounds millions of times better than western music (aside from the obvious euro trance/dance shieza(sp) XD and the rock/punk shits)... for one, the japanese actually have singing abilities, their songs "flow" better and they seem to have an actual message embedded within their songs... but they are, in general fucking freaks...

they have tv shows where audience members have sex with each other.... but i digress :P

Pop is one of the only types of music that I hate. It and R&B make me want to stab myself in the eyes. However, it's possible I like a pop song, and just don't know it. I can't think of any at the moment.

However, J-Pop kicks ass! As already stated, American pop is only about money, and that makes me sick. I like my shit to have talent, meaning, and it’s got to be “real”. As long as it's got that, no matter what kind of music it is, I'll probably like it.

My favs in pop is MJ, Maddona in the 80's song like the Like a prayer rocked.

80's ,90's was good but pop now with Britney,Beyonce yuck oh yuck

Xtina is the good one in pop, i dont like her songs that much but she has a great voice who is made for soul to for pop.

Thats why i thought she was black when i heard her in the radio for the first time, i was yes a new sould diva but no she was a pop singer what a waste....
