I cant get in chat at school, it would make the comp blow up. Maybe if I come around at 2am(in 12hours)

Maybe your internet blocks it or something, or some programs you're using does that.

I'm not going to try to wake up at 6:30 to talk to you guys, maybe if by the rare chance I"m actually awake at that time, then yes.

Try again, I've changed the default connect port from 6669 to 7000. There may be something on your computer that blocks IRC ports or something equally strange.

Femto had issues before with that range of ports, once changed to 7000 it fixed his problems. (this was awhile ago though). So, try again and lemme know if it works for you.

Just as HTML renders differently on each browser and version, I can't reach 100% of my target audiance because of some flaw or another in the way stuff works. I just have to hit the sweet spot that most users here use. I'll post more stats later.

I fear this idea is bombing. I never see anyone chatting. I check to see who's in the room, and it's usually just a couple of lurkers.

I tend to be on there, but if its only psi and oro I dont bother because they just leave it on and never talk. To busy, I would assume.

Just stay there and lurk for a while.

If people see that somebody is in the chat room they'll go in as well. After that you can just check the chat window periodically to see what's new and that's it. I'm guessing people don't have a lot of time to spend exclusively on chat, but if you just hang around there for a while you'll find someone to talk to for a while.

Every time I've spent in our new chat room has been great thus far, so give it a try. Don't feel disencouraged just because there isn't anybody there at the moment. This goes for everyone, if you don't stay in the chat room, then other people won't either.

I'm going on right now actually.

Don't expect many replies though, I'm kinda busy.
