At the risk of sounding shitty (which I may or may not be, lol)or as if I'm making a personal assault of this (which I'm not)...Just because you & the majority of the Catholic community, Christian Coalition & multitudes of Homophobic folk that make up Humanity, happen to be fearful, disgusted, or otherwise, bothered by it...doesn't mean it's unnatural. If your name & status is "God", then so be it, your word is meant to be taken as law..at which point you can use the phrase "it's not meant to be" & it be writ' in the stars, stone & our fleshy hides.

All said & done, if it was unnatural, it wouldn't occur...especially not in nature. Everything in life has its place...everything happens for a reason. Just because our closed minds can't perceive, appreciate or understand something, doesn't mean it shouldn't be. Regardless of how science, media, the religious community or political world view it, homosexuality is not an issue that will be truthfully depicted by ANY of said mediums.

I'm sorry you see it that way hun. Personally, I didn't used to believe it myself when I was younger, but eventually, I started to recognize otherwise. It at some point, became painfully obvious that every event I seriously looked back upon, had a pertinance or a relevant result. Ultimately, it ended up something I could no longer deny.

Whether you choose to see it as such or not, is your own choosing. But as for myself & a plethora of others I've conversed with in regards to such things, it's been proven time & time again. But I'm not about to get into a debate on what in life is fiction & what isn't. What's true to each of us, is all that matters...What I'd stated, was my own perspective to add to the mess of other voices being heard. Sorry if you can't relate, but that doesn't hold any sway over my own life's truths

I don't need 'excuses' to deal with the shit that life has thrown at me. In fact, I'm a buddhist & acceptance is a very very VERY solid lesson you learn as one. I've dealt with a large number of fucked up situations & truths in my life, as many of us have. It's learning to accept shit for being just that...shit, that has gotten me thru it all without killing myself, or someone else LOL. Denial gets you absofuckinlutely NOWHERE in life. i dont think you are just an atheist. you are an angry atheist . actually your last statement is quite wrong. if it wasnt for the church, MANY discovies would have never been made. who do you think it was that preserved the teachings of the aristotle, plato, socrates, and pythagorus, and et cetera. it was the monks who were a part of the church. churches helped for the first universities. yes they did slow down and retard many first secularized research, but if it wasnt for the church, those teachings would have been lost forever, and im sure if many enlightenments and golden periods in science would have happened, the way they did at the least.

oh well. religion is for some. if anything i hope you realize you can do something. if a 19 year old with only sporatic work can do some then everyone on this website probably could spare $24 a month to make the difference in some childs life. and even if i couldnt give these kids besides god, i would still give them that, because knowing that there is something out there that loves you and all that good stuff really can make the light a little brighter. as of now i just dont think you understand the implications of a spiritual side of life. if you do then my bad .
