Your favorite two genres?

My favorite genres are Fighting (Hackn Slash) and strategy games.
Fighting: I like to kick the shit out of people

Strategy: I like to practice patience, and winning gives me the idea I'm smarter than the enemy

My favorite genres are RPG and Action/Platforming games

The best RPG is still Final Fantasy III/VI and the best platformer there is out there is Prince of Persia - Sands Of Time

Platform can be annoying with the camera angle. Not all games, but some really do

you're kidding me right? I mean after you got hte upgrades.. it was the smaething every time you saw a bad guy. I wasnt too impressed witht he game, and i wasnt too impressed witht the second one either. If you want to play a platformer, go play Ape Escape for PSone. By far the greatest platformer ever. It had innovation and had sooo much comic humor.

For me i cant say there is only 2 gernes that i like, i like them all. Why favor only 2 when i can be the only kid on my block and say i favor all of them?

I am assuming the Mario games would fall in that category and if so then Mario 3 was the best platformer ever. The game rocks, and still does. I can play that game for hours, beat it and then play it again. My friend and I used to try to beat it as fast as we could, we were down to under thirty minutes.

Well now that you remind me of it, Mario 3 totally pwns as a platformer.

True, the battles in Sands Of Time and Warrior Within were too easy and there were too many of them. Especially in WW - I just ran over all the enemies that I could.
PoP is, for me, all about the jumping and the stunts you have to pull off with the Prince.

I've tried Ape Escape for PS and I didn't like it. It didn't seem like a totally hopeless game but I just... I just didn't like it!

yeah like diablo 2 is way way WAY overrated. when i was necromancer class, i couldn't even revive diablo or mephisto or baal as my minions! how wack!

but at least you can revive 32 cows and do lower resists to lag the shit out of people...

lol i dont care bout cows! tho necro is one of the best classes to play cow level cuz of the cow revival. but i wanted to revive diablo, mephy, and baal! darnit blizzard never gives the fans what they really want!

for example: starcraft 2 will never come out. dont even dream, it aint gonna happen

Nah necros werent too good. Not at cow level either. For basiccly everything sorcs, barbs, were the best. Especially before 1.10. Im not too familiar with 1.10, sept i know that blizzard sorcs owned and chargdins were crazy.

First and foremost favorite genre would have to be RPGs. What got me started was Final Fantasy IV(which has a much cooler ending the FFVI btw) on the SNES and Chrono Trigger sealed it for all time. If anyone doesn't mind the graphics, get a ZNES emulator and find the ROM Terranigma. Very good game. Robotech is also cool.

Secondly would have to be the tournament fighters. First one I ever played was the classic Street Fighter 2 at an arcade machine at this convenience store that sold the awesomely good pizza pockets.

oh yeah buzkashi, after 1.1 necros turned godly. for each point you put in any spell, it gives a boost in power to each other spell. heck ive seen 5k damage bone spears

Yeah, but bone spear goes through opponents till it leaves the screen. if you aim it at a bunch of guys in a row, it will hit all of them. Not like Bone Spirit, which only hits one guy.

too bad theres people out there that can run too damn fast so that you cant even hit them.. man i was a freakin d2 HC player back in the day... i always thought i could make the most perfect nerco pvp... sadly it could never work... though i did have the ultimate necro lagger. i use to just going to HC games and lag the shit out of it and have like 4 lvl 70 chars die from cows or some weak shit lol.

though i know what your talking about, necros had the potenital, but man they should have made their golems better, or at least give them the power to make like 4 golems... omg badness...
