My friend also play FPS on track ball, to each his own I say. He tells me that is owns traditional mouse.

But they suck at shooters. A mouse is always better for that.

Just noticed this little saying here. Please refer to your FPS as FPS. It hurts us shooter fans when we hear that and there is no way that a mouse would be good for a shooter.

It aight, it is just that our genre came first damn it, we would like to retain the genre title if possible. Another thing is, most people don't play traditional shooters like myself. So most people would call FPS shooters, it is kind of inescapable. But I like to try and give the wisdom when I can.
