I buy more than 20 comics in monthlies,6-8 trades, 10-15 mangas so i say bullshit to you.

So what i have to buy things i dont like? Yeah right. I rather steal stuff i dont care for and i MUST read cause of them than the comics i like.

I read CW,52,JLA,BOP,Blue Beetle as scans. The rest are old school stuff for backreading an issue there and there. JLA,BOP,BB are try outs.

There is a simple reason i dont buy event except Annihilation which i actually liked is that i dont wanna see an event every six months as it has been since i have started reading comics in 05. I rather support series i find interesting instead of Superhero fight feasts after another.

I download more mangas than i buy cause sadly not many of the mangas i like get licensed.

I have every right to complain about CW or any other events cause they ruin all my superhero comics in my pull list. Most of all i hate they cancel a great comic cause it cant sell as well as the best selling comics cause they are noobs that buy events they know they hate. Heck even you has been thinking CW has been yuck.

I dont care what others buy but i wont support stuff that suck and will endanger my other comics.

You dont know what i buy or dont buy so dont act like you know all.

I dont feel quilty about downloading cause they get alot of money from me and ONLY thanks to i started downloading comics and then starting to buy the ones i liked and other stuff from the writers i had downloading comics of.

Heck the bizz would do alot better if there were more people like me instead people i find in demoniod and zcult who download 100 comics and dont buy a single one.

I dont mean this in a bad way but : ARE YOU DEAF OR BLIND?

I didnt hate CW from the start i didnt know it was bad but when i knew still i must read it cause i have many Marvel comics in my pull list that are affected.

I learned early thanks comics forums like zcult that you must read events even if you hate it. Just look at MU post CW many stuff are changed that i wouldnt understand without reading CW.

Or DC with both Crisis events without them i wouldnt understand DC at all, Flash dying and multi universe crap that is back by the way.

The first event i buy will be the new Annihilation.

I was about to say that Jessica Jones is the new Ronin, but I figured that she probably wouldn't say 'yo Cage'. Then, I'm thinking that it might be White Tiger, a relatively obscure female hero. And she's black too, which everyone believes the race determines the character from the 'yo'.

Now, Femto would of course get defensive over the matter of downloading comics and the such, because his future career lies somewhere in this industry. Since the comics industry has been struggling and quite shit (Marvel nearly went bankrupt and all not too long ago), it's understandable that Femto would get pissed off with people stealing the work instead of buying it. Femto would be entering the struggling industry where people can download the stuff via BT or watch it on youtube. So, I think he has a reason to fume out.

I will now employ the 'don't ask, don't tell' protocol. Where people don't ask where they can download their stuff, and people don't tell where and how they obtained their stash. Use a google search, for shit's sakes, get a monkey to do it. I'm far from being an angel, but I think we should all employ discretion here. For all our sakes, and to avoid any heated flamez0rz like the ones above.

Hehehe, thats understandable and should be obvious. Completely understand what Femto meant (or what motivates him to say or object to it). You cant leech exstensively and then expect the comic industry to release better quality comics, because the fact that you leech and dont buy, is a somewhat big factor in that the big comic corps release crap comics that appeal to as many as possible, just to earn as much money as possible.

Quality is besides the point in the bussiness world, if one supports the industry in the things you read and think are worthy and quality comics, it means less bussiness oriented thinking, less churning out of the same crappy type of comics. If the quality comics (which I assume is the ones you read, your favourites) isnt supported by buying them, it means more crappy comics.

Not saying I care much about buying much or dont leech (if I did, I wouldnt excuse it, just do it), but I understand it the arguments for it (even if its a non-issue for me personally, dont think its morally wrong or anything like that).

There isnt much plus side to leeching when it comes to supporting comics (if that is what one cares about), except the fact that downloading some is a great way to discover alot of quality comics you would never hear about offline, or see much on the shelves. Leeching isnt that big of a deal in forums like this, it just happens (much more understandable to download manga, no translations, very few current manga to buy, leeching is a must in most cases)...But as you said, its better to keep quiet about it and dont announce it all the time, in case it may annoy others who buy (its also pointless to bring up, just discuss the comics wether you bought it or not, and find ways to leech on your own).

But what you think on the matter is at the end pointless....when you cant have a normal discussion with someone like Femto, even if he has valid points...you dont pay attention to them because the stupid and unnecessary insults makes them void. He could do well without acting like a dickhead (it can be cute or funny if taken unserious, but not if one wants a serious discussion), if one is interested in discussing. It doesnt matter how right you are in something (it doesnt justify it), if the only thing one does is insult other posters in every little way, and for every little thing.

About the typical american thing was a way of controlling myself so i dont say foul words i wouldnt be proud of later cause i remembered its Femto

Had to google 'Victoria Silverstedt', it corrected my spelling to 'Victoria Silvstedt'. I've never heard of her before, but yeah, my eyes weren't exactly on her face to check out if she's hot or not.
