Yeah I read 35 AND 36 too. Good stuff. The art is similar to Cary NorD's even if it's a guest artist. I follow the minis too but the best is the ongoing. It's the comic with the art I enjoy the most in all the comics I follow. I don't think I could be more pleased with this serie.

I own an old comic book from Marvel days conan, it'S a big sized format of a french release and it has 3 selected Conan comics, with one where conan team up with Red sonja. But it's not worth anything because it's torned and not in good shape. It's still a comic that followed me through my childhood. I used to re-read it every one in a while.

Actually the art in 35 i thought was Cary Nord as usuall then i saw the name on the cover :P

The art of Nord and Ruth i enjoy so much cause they fit the story better than any comic i read.

Nord's style is so dreamy looking thats its perfect for the world of Conan.

Greg Ruth art in the story about a teenage Conan is great cause the art is so wild perfect for how Conan and his tribe lived.

Have you read Songs of The Dead? Its drawn by Tim Truman its great. Art and storywise. There is a funny stygian bandit with Conan that made me laugh so much.

Yes I enjoyed it a lot. It was just when Tim truman was going to start writing in the ongoing and I was a bit scared that it would loose a bit of his quality, but Songs of the dead was good so I didn'T mind the writer change.

The writing was so funny. It was a bit more gritty and raw than before. More nakedness and blood and sex. I hope we see more of Alvazar in upcoming minis/ongoing issues. I don'T think he said anything that wasn't funny.

Conan and the Midnight god started this month. It's about King Conan and it's pretty cool. I like stygian related issues. There's a stygian messenger coming over to discuss with Conan.

I have this, and it is awesome.

Both Batman: Dark Victory and Long Halloween are very good. Not as dark, but are very good.

Dark Victory and The Long Halloween are both miles and miles better than Arkham Asylum.

I have never been in awe of an art as much as those books.

My soul feels empty after reading Civil War.

I rate it 4/10, overall. The art is gorgeous, so I rate 9/10 for that.

Hopefully they're expose the corrupt government that's been pulling the strings for this Civil War. They've set it up in so many other books, but they didn't resolve those ends here.

Iron Man acted like a complete douche throughout the whole series. Not uncharacteristic of him, but his methods were.

That makes sense, except for the past where Ronin says "yo dude" or something like that.

Civil War was a terrible, terrible series.

Great idea but one of the lamest cop-outs I've seen in comics recently.

Annihilation FTW.

Annihilation is pretty damned awesome.

I've always thought Nova was a third rate joke. It's great to see that thought vaporised, as Nova is definitely one of the strongest superheroes around after these events.

Why was this title enjoyable? Keith Giffen wrote it. And, in doing so, he drew in some DC influences. Annihilation reminded me of the Rann-Thranger war, and the Nova Corps was similar to that of the GL Corps. I've never seen this side of Drax before, he's kind of goddamn cool.

As for the new Ronin, could Ronin be a female? I'm thinking about possible candidates who has martial arts nearing Maya's level, or even Shang Chi's (apparently the greatest martial artist in the entire Marvel Universe).

Oh, I got it, it's DEADPOOL!

That would be awesome.

But there are two reasons it isnt him.

1. DP is a prankters he would try to out joke spidey. He wouldnt go "Yo"

2. He doesnt do anything if there isnt money in it for him plus the other guys must be crazy to let him join knowing how crazy he is.

I'm just here to give the thumbs up to Annihilation (again).

I loved the fact that Thanos wasn't a whiny, self-loathing faggot for once.

In fact, nearly every character in Annihilation was somehow awesome.

Fucking love Annihilus.

"Annihilus lives. While all around him die... Annihilus lives!"

That line creeped me the fuck out.

I am reading Annihilation too.

I have only read Thanos prelude story in his series and now i am at Drax mini.

I must say i like Thanos, he was pretty awesome. Not the cliche villain i expected him to be.

I have never been fan of cosmic stories in marvel cause the comics they appear in like X-men,FF etc are comics i dont like.

I remember Nova,The Beyonder when i was backreading Spidey in the 80's.

Bless wiki for giving the info i need about Thanos,Galactus,Beyonder etc history.

Whats really funny is death, the only time i have seen her was when she was trying to collect Deadpool life in a special about his origin. Didnt know she was a cosmic being .

Annihilation is far, far better than Civil War.

No contest.

I liked Infinite Crisis but Annihilation felt a lot more focused.

Infinite Crisis felt like a jumbled mess with dozens of characters on a single page, most of which had very little to do with the event itself.

The transformation of Richard Rider from a Spider-Man with cosmic powers into a full-grown man was ultimately the main story at the heart of Annihilation.
