Not so much the forum, but it's rules and enforcement could be less strict.

How can we improve the forums?

Post by psi29a »

Yes, it is that time again. Soon there is to be a revolution in terms of new server, new layout, and more. For a taste of things to come, check out the tracker re-design: http://bt.evil-genius.us .

Along with these changes, here is your chance to voice your thoughts on how to make this place better. There has been some generally nobbish behavior lately, some of which could have been avoided.

Feel free to ask questions , but I have some of my own, and of course feedback is appreciated

Is the forum what you have come to expect?
Is the forum click-ish?
If the forum could be improved, how?
What would you like to do here that is prevented?
What would bring you back daily?
How would you handle annoying forum trolls?
Would you guys like less administrative ban-hammering and more forum member flaming?

Most importantly, the poll options.

We want everyone's opinion, even the formally banned.

If you have ideas on things we can do here in the forums to make it better, then by all means voice them. Femtov2 won't bite. :D

Bringing back quick-reply, if at all possible, would be awesome.

The forums are fine for me. I mostly come here for supplemental information on my beloved Berserk. This includes discussions on past, current, and future events in the series. As long as people have interesting things to say about Berserk I'll always be lurking.

I've been lurking for years now (including DP) and I've never felt a need to post. So I suppose a good question would be how to get people like me to post more?

Yup, that would be a very good question. We have to strike a middle ground in how to a) foster more (hopefully good) discussions and b) keep away the narutards.

Replace the Mindwerks banner at the top wit the Salon of the Goat Grabbers emblem.

Also quick reply would be great.

Lastly I call for the revival of BBtech.

So, aside form quick-reply what can be done to make the place better.

Better is very subjective, ideas are welcome.

What would bring you back, other than watching drama and flamewars. :P

Is the forum what you have come to expect?

-i didnt have an expectation to being with. i just had to post on "you know you read/watch too much berserk when you..." forum

Is the forum click-ish?
im under the impression everyone is treated based on their posts, not who wears Gucci.

If the forum could be improved, how?
i dont think there are any big problems.

Would you guys like less administrative ban-hammering and more forum member flaming?

only when they are really pissing myself off. there are too many to flame all of them, but maybe just the ones that are fun. i think i trust the mods enough to ban who they think needs to be banned.
