Obviously playing Oblivion or Quake isn't fun while standing up, but I can think of new ways to use this technology such as demonstrations, lectures, and even on plane workstation where you want more 'hands on' control of 3d modeling and photoshop.
I think it'd be pretty sweet for a giant war game where you control massive armies. One of my friends was hoping they would design the iphone with this technology.
I wonder how long they'll be working on this until it becomes something available to the average consumer. You'll need a pretty fit graphics card for that.
Imagine all of the possibilities -- you could have like all of the issues of playboy or hustler, or penhouse on the screen at once, and just blow through them -- it would be godly. I approve. On a side note, those two guys giving the presentation, are really -- desperately virgin looking.
