I thoroughly expect for half of each episode to be Dante and/or Virgil sodomizing a giant lava spider/scorpion.

The suckzoring of that useless trailer will reflect on every episode... The best they could do is stay true to the story because everything else they do will be a total disaster. Unfortunately I dont like watching gay stuff so ill probably ignore this serie as well.

It looks to me like the basis is DMC1 Dante. It really depends on what approach they take, we'll either end of with a nomura-pretty boy anime or something worth watching. Don't think it can go any other way.

How can you call DMC gay

Is it cause Dante is somewhat of pretty boy? So what every lead guy in tv,movies,anime,games are pretty boy look.

Me everyone knows my love of DMC but if they make it a pretty boy romanctic comedy/action. I will stay as far away as possible.

You guys dont know what it is going to be like, for all you know it could take you to Dante's past like when he was a kid with his brothers and sisters then he finds out he is Sparta's son or something cool, people dont just produce crap these days... but you never know I guess all I am saying is give it a shot before calling it Gehy or Gay or whatever. I for one will watch it without any bias.

PS I only played DMC 1 so maybe that is why I still have hope

Was devil may cry 2 really that bad? i only aver played 1 and 3. which were both pretty freaking awsome though in three i think they made dante alittle bit too hyper but otherwise it was fairly(as in completly) addicting. i mean i made sure to beat both on dante must die with at least an A average.

2 surely wasnt bad, average good - good, it just wasnt as good as 1 or 3

I hated dmc 2 but i love the 1st one.

The 2nd one was way too simple without any style.

I got rid of my ps2 for an xbox before dmc3 was released so cant comment on that one.

I am extremely doubtful of games turned to animation. (sonic as an example)

I watched the first episode, and i think that once its got a little more time to build up an episode stock that it might turn out to be a really good series, especially if it goes in to the story of the games at all, without totally butchering them
