A little day in the graveyard for me. But I started this thread in the first place and figure I might as well be the one to revive it, but DH, being the Miura fans that they are, are actually releasing the other story done with Buronson. Not sure the Japanese title, but the American one is going by Japan. Life just keeps getting better.

Seems good, but the story seems short.

I sure hope not. If so, I'll blame it on Mune's bad juju. :P

I hope not. Oh Roh was awesome. It was two short is my only complaint, but the story was cool and Miura's artwork as always is just superb. If anything Japan will probably have good artwork if not a good story.

Yeah, at least we know it'll look good. Oh Roh, was more like a movie, than a series, you know. I guess Japan will be the same way *shrugs*.

Yeah since its only one volume. I just remember when I first picked up V1 of berserk. I was just in awe at the artwork. Miura even in his earliest works was amazing. I would almost say he has gone down to some extent, though up in other ways. His overall style is better now, but he does not do the badass stuff at the beginning of the chapters anymore. I love in his older stuff where the first 2 or 3 pages were done in that darker realistic looking way. Just blows my mind how amazing it looks.

I dont care how short this Japan is i will get everything that is made by Miura.

Thanks for the info Arresty.

About Miura art i like the darker style he used in the begining of Berserk,Oh Roh compared to the style he uses now in Berserk.

I hope DH keeps up with realesing his old stuff,i mean he must have done other stuff than Berserk.

Yeah I agree. It seems DH really likes him though. I think berserk is one of thier bigger selling mangas so they decided people may want more Miura, and they were right. :headbang: :thumb:

The manga was good, but it needed more badass action. Also, it was too short, and the graphical content of the newer berserk is better.

There is the sequel to Oh Roh called Oh Roh Den. Oh Roh Den is also known as The Legend of the Wolf King. I don't think it has been licensed here yet. Good luck finding this one. Everything that I came up on was in German, since it is liscensed over there.

Here's the German cover for it.
