What do you guys think of this movie?

I think it was the best movie i have seen recent years.

I havent seen a movie that was almost perfect as this one.

The story didnt have any holes and they were so many twist that the director was like a magician himself, he fooled us so many times.

The only movie since Memento,Sixth Sense that deserves 10/10 i think.

Unlike the director of Sixth Sense Nolan has shown with this movie that Memento wasnt a fluke.

I've seen it twice, and I liked it. I was always a fan of Tesla.

I knew he must be real, cause i have learned from reading some history books that for every Edison or some other great inventor there were many other great people that didnt become as famous.

Now i feel the urge to learn more about him.

Was it something you didnt like of the movie or did you think it was as good as i thought?

I thought it was a very well done movie, and more importantly enjoyed watching it the 2nd time.

Certainly raises a few questions about the nature of 'stuff', the duplication of humans without a doubt will be a lasting sticking point in our culture.

Yeah for being a movie set in 1800's it was pretty current.

Always creeps me out when i hear about scientist being close to cloning humans. Maybe thats bull for this day and age but the hole idea is sick to me.

The real nail bitter is the concept of souls. Does the clone have a soul, or does it give credence to that soul is a human made construct to stroke our egos.

It throws a whole new monkey wrench into things.

Be careful with how you use the term 'clone' by the way. Current context is that it stems (no pun intended) from ovum and sperm, the movie creates a physical duplication.

Some will say both are soul-less, some will say that one is soul-less and not the other. Yet others will say that soul is ego-driven nonsense.

You know, I could have sworn we have a thread for things like this... A movies thread? Perhaps a movie thread that encompsess all the movies in a year? Man, somebody should make something like that.

That the clone will be soulless or that it is like playing god is what makes me uneasy when they talk about cloning in real life.

Maybe cause i didnt wanna ruin the movie's suprising twists for people thats why i made this thread so we can talk about the twists and what happened without ruining it for people who havent seen it yet.

Just like me and psi29 talking about the clone thing.
