I have to agree, it may not effect you because of any number of things. So all of you believe this instantly? And doesnt see it for the bullshit promotional ad it is?
But there are other sites or stuff like this around, and they scare me to bits. Ispecially since I'm pretty ignorant about how a computer works, and would have no idea what to do.

The video isn't fake, check the McAfee link I posted on the first page and you'll see a big red X, which means bad. I've done a little research on this site (not directly) and if you're using Firefox it ain't all that dangerous. I wouldn't try it though, there isn't much point in going there unless you wanna wreck your machine
