Probably the only shounen out there with an actual plot.

I'll read this thing when you do it, but chances are you'll be like a crab from Genji 2 and I shall attack your weakpoints for massive damage. Best of luck to you though. ^_^ I honestly hope you manage to be the 1 in 172372108321 people who doesn't suck.

So, what you're saying is that there hasn't been a single author in all of human history that you actually liked? Personally, I'd make it more like 1 out of every 100,000 who don't suck (at least if we include all fan story authors in our figures, as well as regular ones).

Being literal is a good thing, except when it's more amusing to be non-literal.

I can't take anyone who thinks they can create a good story, much less a fanfic story, seriously if they haven't made an effort to correct a spelling error in their topic title in the past week.

Well, can't say I agree completely, but if we start on this one we'll get so far from Berserk that we'll be celebrating our New Year in Interstice :D

Neither did I. Nice catch, DarkenRahlX, but I don't know that I'd totally dismiss an author for one spelling error. Hell, I occasionally find spelling errors in published novels, and they have a huge amount of editing and proofreading done to them, so it's not that big of a problem.

Yeah, I know I can't be called impartial in this, but don't you think you're being a tad hasty in your judgement?

That having been said: *Hangs head in shame*

I've been motivated ever since I got more than two people expressing a willingness to comment on it. One thing I've learned from projects in the past is that one bit of well thought-out negative feedback is worth ten compliments that don't name any specifics.

To put it differently: When I need criticism, I know which forum to turn to.

Currently a little over a page into the first piece, although I should warn you that Guts won't be making an appearance in person; in fact, violence will be minimal.

As for me, how critical I am will depend in large part on how much I find to be critical about. Although I'd like at least a chapter or two to work with before commenting.
