This dude seriously trips me out. I don't know how he does this shit, but he's got to be the best magician ever.

I don't know what to say. He's amazing, that's it. I'd kill to learn how he does this shit. I've been watching lots of different videos of these illusions, and I'm completely baffled. Either, the people are in on it, he's just the best damn illusionist ever, or the fucker is magical. Whatever the case may be, he impresses the hell out of me, heh.

Dont take magicians seriously and just watch for casual and corious entertainment...but did he just do that? What kind of trick is that?

Seen him before in Letterman and the tv show Las Vegas(pulled off amazing skills in the later...but being a tv show...thought they visually helped him out in the tricks...).

I can't stand Criss Angel.

Half of his show is done using cheap "magic" tricks, and video editting to give him the appearance of being a great magician when he's simply paying off half the people he "amazes".

There's no way that he didn't have plastic platforms or something in the water, and that just about everyone in that pool was a payed actor or a friend.

Yeah, the thing with Criss Angel is that almost every person who is up there with him is a friend/confidant/paid performer. Notice when he pulls the woman in half that he selects someone out of the audience who he (presumably) does not actually know but says he can't use her because she's too short. Then he picks the person in on the trick. If you see the trick where he walks through a window covered by paper, the paper is concealing the glass being pulled up by a machine and the person inside the room with him and the people holding the paper are all in on it. It looks good, but it aint that magical.

funny coincidence.. i was up late a few nights ago watching his shows. somethings are really amazing, others are not so much. criss angel is a great illusionist and does some really outrageous stuff. very addicting to watch.

We always have a hypnotist at our Schools Graduation night. A alot of the graduating seniors got hypnotised. Apparently you wont get hypnotised if you go in all skeptical thinking its impossible. Like you kinda have to let it happen to you.

This is true with almost everything. There was a study about "ki" energy on a random show where skeptics went into this dojo where people claimed to throw "ki blasts" at each other, and were supposedly capable of knocking a person down without touching them etc.

So the skeptic got right up in the face of the leader (the dojo master refused, but bragged about a good 10 minutes prior that he would make lines of people waver/collapse by doing it from behind) and the instructor "threw" his "energy" at the skeptic's face.

Didn't even blink.

And the excuse? "He didn't believe in it", from the same guy who said he does it to thousands of people, yet obviously these people in line at McDonalds surely had the same class.

As for Cris Angel, he's a good illusionist. It's all just hocus pocus, I have fun myself figuring out how it was done. I haven't seen a lot of his stunts and I agree that at some points he's obviously got paid actors, but eh, if I wanted to be duped everytime into believing something was real I wouldn't watch any movies.

Well, I like Criss Angel, because he´s a great illusionist. And he make his best effort. So do you remember that illusionism is the best way to trick people? If you want real magic, make a ouija board and call Satan, Lots of laughs guaranteed
