I use Shareaza as well. But I use WinRAR for my unzipping.

Nice chapter this one. The vision of that army is quite something. Good thing the story is progressing, but my feeling is that we wont see any of Guts and CO action on that boat. It will be interesting seing the Neos though, but i think Grifith wont show is face.
I bet all of the Vaticans (is that really a word??) are just waiting for Guts to come back and save them.
Oh... Azureus and WinRar rule this world!!!
The most beautiful thing in life is life itself Get bitten by me
good chapter, maybe not so full of violence (lol) but from what we got since last chapters we can have a lil' rest. IMO, Griffith have good opportunity to show Vatican Sponsors how his BOTH great is. In the end Vatican armys will join him and they'll be invincible HAHAHA. ^_^''' Thx anyway.
There's one thing i didn't really get. Where is Griffith? He should be in town, because we saw him in prevous episode. And now that Kushan guy is saying that the hawks are on their way to the town (ie they are not yet there). And even if Griffith came to that town with no troops (except flying apostles, which he can only use during night, because they look too demonic), why is he not in that tower with aristocrats scoring political points?
So where is he?

Remember, don't post Direct Download links in this or any other thread in the berserk section. Take them to the Interstice's direct download thread. We do this for a reason.

Good point; wonder if he'll make an appearance in person. We could see a large-scale demonstration of power on his part next issue...
Well he was in a field in the previous chapter and knowing Griffith (if he still follows his tactics from before) He will probably let the Kushans invade and start the battle then ride down and either flank them or ambush them from behind and target the main commanders who usually hide back in the back and just give commands. I'm wondering if he will give the Neo hawks the order not to transform or not while they fight because if the vatican sees that then they will relate him to demons.
That's right!! Another pointless post by me bitches!!! HA!
What confuses me is how did the Kushan's get their army there in the first place? Armies that huge do not travel either quickly or stealthily, so everyone should have known that it was coming a loooong time in advance. But from their reactions, it's almost as if the army just matieralized behind the nearest set of hills, or something.
And as a question that it will be interesting to see the answer to, does anyone else wonder if Apostles get tired? I mean physically, from too much exertion. Because based on the size of the Kushan army, to have much impact the Neo Hawks would have to fight more or less all day and all night (and possibly several more days) before killing enough Kushans to turn the battle, and if they do get tired, even normal humans might kill them once the got exhausted enough.
Good point, Istvan, I kind of noticed that too. Well here's my take:
It seems to me that both Kushan emperor and Griffit have to hide their demonic nature from general audience. That Kushan prince seemed quite impressed when he saw a battle between Griffith's apostles and Kushan's demons. (If you reread that chapter you'll notice that Emperor's castle has two 'sectors', one for humans and one for demons). I, mean Kushan Emperor is more open about his evil, but even he uses his demonic forces rarely (t's allways either in fog or at night). So his demonic soliders are more like attacking force, not invasion force; their task is to kill enemy soliders and leave, not counquer.
I think that his whole invasion plan was this: Use demon soliders to attack the city from sea, and then use regular troops to counquer it and establish his rule there. So when demon troops attacked the city from sea, regular troops had already been dispached (perhaps a week earlier) to attack it from land.
And why people from city were surprised to see troops: Well, it was the aftermath of one bigass demonic battle, so army was in total chaos. They were even leaving city (probably running away from already defeated demons), instead of using it as fortress. It is kind of hard to notice bunch of regular troops, when you have to deal with demons.
Now, I am not one of those people who are desperately trying to rationalize all plot holes, just because they like the story very much. I do love Berserk, but Miura is not perfect, but I really think that we should give him benefit of a doubt here.
And, by the way, thank you for great release, EG!

What is good?-Whatever augments the feeling of power, the will to power, power itself, in man.
What is evil?-Whatever springs from weakness.
What is happiness?-The feeling that power increases-that resistance is overcome.
Thats true....the defending soldiers were wondering why the demons retreated so it must have been the diversion to keep them busy and not see the human army coming....wow...good going Kushy!!

The army undoubtedly had time to move and get into position, as if they marched through the night they could easily have covered quite a bit of ground.
Not to mention with the ball happening with so much aristocracy, I'm assuming they boosted defenses within the castle walls, and weakened defenses outside.
Plus all the mist and Kushan's attacking the city through the night probably pulled all soldiers from outside inside the castle,

Sure, I agree with all of that, but a large army does well to make ten miles a day in travel (and less at night), so it seems like someone ought to have noticed them coming days ago. Of course, as I think more about it, maybe the Kushan King kept the army surrounded by fog, and quietly killed anyone he sensed getting to close, or something.
Maybe Silas simply won't come to the Kushan's aid. Maybe the BOTH will attack, and then Silas suddenly realizes Griffith is right by him; and instead of attacking, he kneels. Just a thought.
the way i see it, everyone knew the Kushan had invaded and that there forces were large in numbers. In theory, all they would have to do to create such a force is: hide and travel in the shadows, travel in small groups, assassinate anyone who saw them, and have a huge distraction on the eve before battle to organise. If they traveled along the coast they would be able to move with much more discretely, especially with the elephants.
So its not that unlikely that the kingdom was caught so off guard
