first of all: next time edit your post, becouse the mods don't really like double posting

as I understand you want to know where the symbol comes from...well, beats me

you could try looking at the symbolism thread, I don't remember reading about it

so come on guys, any ideas? I want to know too!

for some reason i thought it was a sword he used to prop himself up when he was in the carriage :?. either way it's been so long since i read that chapter that i forgot everything :P. and by giving griffith HIS sword, it would help him feel sort of like a man...since he kinda wasnt realyl one anymore...

you know, you somehow got a point

but I remember the carriage more like a hospital than a living room

and if you remember, he never got a sword since his broke in the duel against Guts

:P

Huh, I never made that connection. Griffith was captured and imprisoned because he didn't have his sword. . .because Guts broke it. Whaddaya know.

I don't think he could have escaped with a sword, but it would have helped

and knowing Griffith, he would have tried

Maybe I'm over thinking it I probably need to go back to that chapter but I swear that Girf has a slight moment where he thinks to pull his sword out but remembers Guts broke it HAHA!......It's a possibility I put that in with my own mind tho cause i really get into it when I read

I believe he had blades at his neck, and thought to himself "No sword. . ." He didn't strike a dramatic pose or anything, but he didn't realize he was unarmed until then. I wonder if he himself blamed Guts for his imprisonment.

I think he blamed Gatts for all of it really. I believe he reached for his sword, like patted his side, only to find it wasn't there, heh.

ya, i have the impression that he blames guts for causing him to lose his cool and distract him from his dream. the more he used guts as a tool, the more he became a tool of guts in a way.

One non berserk related question: how can I see that I am on someone's ignore list?

on the left hand side near the bottom should be an 'ignored by' box.

If you don't see it, then I and the mods can. Just in case you are wondering, no one has you on ignore.

Can I at least see how many people are ignoring me? That's fair, I think. (And since you are Cthulhu, our Admin, maybe you can tell me the number)
By the way, what do you think about free engine links I gave to you?

What is happiness?-The feeling that power increases-that resistance is overcome.

There was some discussion about it in the "interesting links" thread (page 4), but I was the only one believing that the brand came from 616.

No one responded because of the lack of coherency of what was typed.

How are we the readers to take your questions/thoughts/statements seriously when they are not put forth in a manner that doesn't look like an explosion in a punctuation factory?

The lack of seriousness in the post makes us also not take it seriously.

Take your time, if it is a really good question then people will respond, however if not one responds then it is an indictation that it is not a 'real good question'.

We understand that english is everyone's primary language, that is ok. However the overuse of elipses (and punctuation in general), l33t speek, short-hand, can irratate others and they will avoid/ignore it.

If you feel that you need to repost, then do so but only after you have revisted the post and edited it. Even after that, it still may be ignored.

You are correct, the brand is a symbol... pull from it what you wish, but it is silly to think that it has anything to do with the mark of the beast (666).

Talking about the brand's symbolism, doesn't it ressemble the Berserk Vatican's symbol(the white hawk on top of the column)? It seems as if the Brand were a two-dimensional schematic representation of it. Anyway, probably the Church's symbol's form is the consequence and not the cause of the brand's, but, is that relation true or it's just my eyes?

PD: Forgive me in advance if this topic has already been discussed, i'm a newbie here.
