Goto personally does _not_ believe in dragons. The DragonSlayer didn't kill a dragon. As far as we know, Dragons do not exist.

Thanks psi29a. I'd just like to know exactly how much of the rest were mistranslations. Guess I'll have to wait for the DH releases - though the one chapter I'd really love an official translation of... won't be in any of teh volumes!

Okay, I just read through the SkullKnight link.

Eep. Sorry about my previous speculative posts, guys. I genuinely had no idea that a)there were multiple translated scans (some of dubious quality) floating around and b)this topic had already been covered in a SkullKnight thread. The bulk of what I know about Berserk comes from the anime and from whatever scans I've found littering the Internet. I've really got to find a way to save up and purchase either the official Chinese or English translations of the comic (must...finish...degree...earn...real...money...and...stop...living..like ...a...pauper). Thanks for clearing things up!

if god hand exist btwn the Vortex and Nexus. than Gatts sword may only be able to eliminate thier "form". So his conquest maybe in vain, and so then the only way to weakin thier influence would be the elemental kings.

Both the Vortex and the Nexus are still part of the Astral world, and Guts sword (which possesses Astral energy) is capable of slaying Astral beings, so that's not necessarily the case.

If the Idea of God can be said to exist in everything and in nothing at the same time, could it be possible that the God Hand is part of the Idea Evil or are they seperate beings?

Also lets compair the Power of God Hand to Gatts with out the cannon ball going poof in Grifith's face.

God hand will be a 22mm anti-tank rifle and Gatts will be a little kitten. In face of the god hand if they were serious of getting rid of Gatts it would turn out like that. The cat is gone and so is every thing else behind it.

Wikapedia says that Femto is 10* -15 which is = 0.000 000 000 000 001

Could this be the chances of winning against a God Hand member.
If so then Gatts is in big trouble %0.000 000 000 000 001 chance of wining that battle.

I guess to Gatts the only thing that matters is Caska and his conquest of revenge, survival is secondary prioriity.

isnt that the chance of him surviving the feast?
he's gone through worse without the help of new armour and better swords.
i wonder when his sword is gonna break again, i cant remember when he had his sword fixed. probably about time to read the wholes series again before school kicks in....

Only one sword of his has ever broken (in the fight against the Chuda general during the Golden Age arc), and I find it extremely unlikely that the Dragon Slayer is going to break.

I doubt the author even knew about what Femto means, I'm pretty sure it was just a cool sounding name and you're reading too much into it. Also according to wikipedia, Slann is the name of a race of lizardmen from Warcraft, Ubrik doesn't have any referances, and Conrad is a whole bunch of German guys. I highly doubt there is any sort of correlation. Besides, the chance of someone beating him would have to be a variable that changes based on who's doing the fighting, it couldn't be a hard and fast figure like that.

They're at least semi-seperate beings, go read (or re-read) the lost chapter, all of this is addressed. Also, the Idea of Evil doesn't exhist everywhere, it exhists deep in the Abyss, it just has the ability to manipulate everywhere from there.

Yes, but unlike Zodd, Guts is still more or less human, and given what he's gone through in the last few chapters, he has every right to collapse, and not wake up for a few days. Anyone else suspect that Zodd will end up protecting him from the other Apostles by ordering them to leave him alone for now?

I kind of get that feeling from the frame myself. Since preview frames tend to come from the beginning of the chapter, it wouldn't make sense that Guts fought Zodd, got his ass handed to him, and is now down for the count all in the first few frames.

And is it just me, or is that fog all over both of them? Perhaps the fight with Ganishka is still going?
