A lot of shitty licensed games, but a few surprises as well (Animal Crossing GC?).
I'm just throwing that out there in case somebody missed it.

Revenue wise on these lists, do they include all console sales? cuz that im pretty sure makes a difference somewhat.
is it me or was there too many american games on that list?
where is pokemon red and blue? i pretty sure during the craze, everyone had pokemon and a gameboy.

Very sad that one of the best games i have ever played selled so bad, Prince of Persia sands of time.
It did alittle better in europe and the rest of the world.
But if to match its quality it should have sold in several millions.

Am I the only one that's surprised that final fantasy didn't make top ten?
btw according to the article:
Games are ranked by units sold; then by revenue generated.
This list is for the U.S market only.
This list only features games released since the introduction of PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. It does not include handheld games or PC games which will be featured in a separate list.
hmm... maybe this is why FF didn't get into top ten:
Other Franchise Hits qualify if they use the same IP or character in broadly the same genre, and if they managed respectable sales of (roughly speaking) above 200,000 units.

Did i see wrong or didnt i see MGS3 in the list....
Americans are sucker for movie games thats for sure.
I mean Spider Man the movie sold better than MGS2 thats just crazy.
I am shocked that they have the taste to buy Max Payne soo much that is was nr 26 on the list. The coolest action game of the decade.
