Besson made it!? Maybe producer, but he actually did it!? If he did, he's really going downhill. Gimme back "Big Blue" Besson!

He didnt direct it but he koreagraphed the fights and wrote the movie and produced. The fights were amazing so he didnt lose his touch.

Have you seen Danny the Dog who is top three Jet Li movies fightwise so Besson still got it.

Fights would have be awesome if it was The 5th Element or CTHD. FIghts were visually cool but totally unreal, at least in this story's setting. THe 1st Transporter was just stepping on that line, and that was OK.

I want the Besson that's responsible for the Big Blue, Nikita, Leon. Eventually the 5th Element. Not the new one that just makes movies depending of what direction the wind blows. They are still visually good movies, but I forget about them quick.

Edit: no I haven't seen Danny the Dog, but I'm going to Blockbuster tonight 8)

I agree about Transporter 2 had some unreal actiones scenes but thats what i like about Besson. He is like John Woo in his hong kong days.

My fav Besson movies along with Leon and Nikita is Kiss of The Dragon and Danny The Dog.

The Big Blue all the way, no contest! I think I saw Kiss of the Dragon, but forgot about it. I'll check out Danny the Dog though.

Why?

Because they're milking retarded franchises from the 80's?

At least it's animated and not live action.

Just watched Casshern, fucking unbelieveable movie, and I mean in the most negative way possible, a huge WTF movie in pretty much every second of it, you cant a more confusing movie.

Pretty much a lesson on how not to do a movie, and shows how important it is to cut and edit movies(1 hr of excess crap dialogue/scenes, at the least!). Someone should seriously fuck up the retarded director(who I wish made his first and only movie).

And this is the kind of movie where you fucking way, can say you like or dislike due to different tastes. If so, if one of you liked it, I'm eager to hear why hehe.

P.S I still enjoyed it in a weird way(because, visually, its a one of a kind movie), in some degree. Watched it after seeing a movie I enjoyed very much, Syriana, and then saw this crap, which almost made lose hope on all movies.

On August 9nth there's going to premier a film called World Trade Center. It's about the true story of what happened on 9/11 from the point of view of two rescue workers who were pulled from the rubble and saved. It also dramatizes what their families were going through not knowing if they survived.
I just watched a little bit about it on Dateline, and even I think this should be a great film. I didn't like the idea of the film about Flight 93 because it's sort of a work of fiction, as there were no survivors. This is completely differant.
I think it's about time we chronicled what happened that day in film, at a time when it's still fresh in our memories. I can't wait to see this.

(yes, copy/paste)

Utada Hikaru's husband, manager dude.

I liked casshern just as a eye movie. i only saw the awesome look and didn't pay attention to the final fantasy japanese rpg religious philsophy storyline crap. OH and man i hated the hell out of Syriana, i dont' even believe it truely exists.

Just watched Road House 2 out of wonder for the 1st movie.

Wonder sucks.

I'm mad that they butchered it, so I'm going to spam this board.

I just went and saw A Scanner Darkly earlier. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I did enjoy it.
