The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

fuckin' cromartie high school is what's up. i read the manga a while back and it was quite funny, so i got to borrow a dozen ep. from a friend and its still great. i haven't gotten very far yet though. 4, 5 ep. tops. its just a random humor that goes nowhere really fast. also, its a fairly new anime, (says '05 somewhere) and basically, if you like the manga you'll love the anime. makes me wanna be a yankee, rough up a few, eat someone's pencils, you know.

Tokko 8. I like this show, it's got the right bits of everything.

What's it about? I'm looking for a new show now that that ridiculously short Ju Oh sei is finished.

And just for once I'll ask where you got it. I just spend well over half an hour searching all the usual anime sites, and box seems to be down. And since you're such a pirate like me....

Well, I copied it from a friend, but I'd bet he got it from Box. BetterMan is hard to explain. It falls into the same genre as Eva, Fafner, and Rah Xephon. It's very intelligent, weird, creepy, and psychological. Oh, and of course it has giant robots. Although, the Neuronoids are pretty unique. The best thing about the series so far, is trying to figure who or what BetterMan is. He's not a giant robot, but he's not human either. Although sometimes he kind of looks like one or the other, lol. That, and trying to figure out the mysteries behind everything else. From what I'm told, all will be explained, but guessing as you go is part of the fun. It's definitely a good series. ;)

No, not really. As far as I know it was only done by one group, but at least it's complete.

Hehe, nope, it was done by several groups, both from TV and DVD, but none of them still seem to be distributing it. (Themselves, I should say. I don't know who did the eps that are on box.)

Finally i got to watch one of the latest new animes that was released some time ago and it hit me.

Black Lagoon is awesome, entertaining story and good, consisting animation too bad the sub is so slow.

Revi´s VA is as good as you guys said earlier.

Lately, I've gotten tired of series with shitty endings (Basilisk, Trinity Cross, Monster), so I'm digging up old series I've missed.

Galactic Heroes- this series probably ruins half of the anime I'll watch in the future

Fist of the North Star- repetitive but hillarious

But I'll DL it some time this week probably.

I'm just waiting on the latest One Piece episode now. I thought they'd already aired the part where Luffy used 2nd Gear, but I guess not.

Hmm, I watched non-anime in the past few days.

I watched a Japanese movie from 2002, Kyouki no Sakura. It's a very artsy and pessimistic movie about three young guys who start their own gang to fight immorality in Japan.

I also finally watched the movie "Equilibrium".

Yeah, what'd you think about Equilibrium?

As for me, I'm now watching GaoGaiGar. Why? Because super robots pwn! That's why. It's made by the same guy who did Betterman, btw. ;)

Well, when applying some measure of tolerance, Equilibrium comes off as a good movie. It still has its flaws, though.

Watched the latest Tokko. In one particular scene I think Ranmaru is quite dull. Well, and the fights were not as good as in previous eps, but still not bad.

Bleach ep 74-81 the filler is okay, I have held of for a while because I will not download "just okay" filler once a week, I would rather watch a couple episodes. If it was following the manga then I could see where it would be justified.

Yes, yes it is. The instrumentality project is pure genius IMO. If you like Eva, I recommend Betterman. ;)
