Arke -- you gave Eldo his Hitler Scores instead of his actual scores. Re-read his post, the first numbers were "let's see if I can make it think I'm Hitler"
i still can't believe i'm almost as liberal as KomradFile and Mrs. Wahoo... they're much too fun to argue with and now i find i share alot similiar ideas... but not quite liberal... i believe i may weep

Well, for one, this test cannot (or should not at least) be taken as a perfectly accurate measure of one's beliefs in one thing or the other.
It gives us an idea, but a lot of these subjects are too broad and some of those questions are too general to really nail it down on a chart like that.
That being said, I'd say my placement in the chart is fairly accurate.

Despite the fact that many of us score in the same quadrent, I venture a guess that we reasoned through the questions and came to our responses in very different ways (I find this especially likely since Killfile and I debated the first question at length before coming to the same answer).
That's part of the fun. It's also the kind of discourse that is largely missing from the American political landscape. I study politics for a living and one of the things I find most disturbing, particularly when teaching undergraduates, is the fact that people who agree on the final answer often neglect to take the time to debate -=how=- they arrived at that answer...particularly becuase it's usually harder to argue with someone who, at the end of the day, you KNOW you agree with.
so i basically got ghandi for mine...but i decided to see what i'd get if i strongly disagreed with everything except for the last one (which i strongly agreed with for the heck of it). i ended up getting Economic Left/Right: 0.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.95
....interesting. i wonder whose score that resembles?

what? that's not true ... is it? although if it is true, it wouldn't be the first time people in India (or elsewhere) have failed to learn their history and fallen victim to self-loathing as a result. hmmm... it's so sad.
He considered them a lower being. And even fought in a war against them. It was all on "Bullshit".

hm. i didn't know that. well, i'm not going to blame old Gahndhi-ji. He, no doubt, studied the British world view and had no choice but to assume it was correct at the time. but, he had to look in the mirror at some point and be like, "damn!" i mean, Gandhi wasn't hella dark, but ya gotta know that some of his boys were. I mean, take Vijay as a current example of over half the Indian population. you don't just get like that. it's not one hell of a tan. it's African ancestry of both slaves and Dravidians. Poor Gandhi-ji! He had to wake up some mornings and think, "blast this cursed melanin!"
