Wow, well.. I hope all of you stayed to watch the secret ending after the credits...

****SPOILER****SPOILER****SPOILER****SPOILER******

PROF X IS ALIVE!!!?! or it could be onslaught!
I didnt see that cause thats beyond stupid cause people stayed to watch the credits but we didnt see that. Nobody waits ten mins for a thing like that. I dont care that i missed. Thats more even clichèd than him being dead.

How worse? He-Man is a masterpiece

I mean you have Dolph in those tight pants, Skeletor who looks more like burned rubber than a skull and Paris from Star Trek. Oh yeah almost forgot Courtney Cox and the midget wizard. MIDGET

Oh and anyone else eagerly awaiting Knight Rider new movie and Mortal Kombat 3?

Don't mind Libaax. He complains about everything and overuses the word cliché. His constant overuse of "cliché" has itself become a cliché. That and he's probably bitter he missed out on the extra 15 seconds of footage

All jokes aside though, the way I went into the theatre was like this: I knew it probably wasn't going to win any awards for creativity or novelty, so I wanted to enjoy the screentime of the different characters and just have fun with it. So I did. If they focus the story of the next one on fewer characters, it has a much better chance of being a good movie to boot. Wouldn't mind it it was longer than average either

What annoyed me was that they tried to do way too much for a movie that is less than two hours. If it was 3-4 hours it might have been good to tell all of the story.

X2 was good in that they didnt do to much, they choose a story and certain characters and sticked with them.

While this movie had way too many characters.

I went to the movie thinking okay there is no way they will do the characters justice but still might show some of them and what they do.

They only one that got his thing was Wolverine cause apparently the movie is about him.

Personally, the X-men movies so far had the best actors for their characters in all super heroes movies.

Well it came also here in Croatia so I need to see for myself. Meh I don't actually care if it's crap or not as long as I have my fun. Might even bring some alcohol with me to prolong enjoyment

Though I'm more interested in "Snakes on a Plane"

Nicolas Cage? Well it's gonna be crap

Story sounds like "Renegade" meets the devil  They should have put Lorenzo Lamas instead of Cage :whip:

X3 was exactly how i pictured it. Lots of action, and a ton of little things that xmen fans would get. It was visually pleasing and for a movie they gave enough screen time for each character.

Some people think this is the last xmen movie are wrong. Stay after the credits, you get a nice little surprise.

Ghost rider looks kinda of meh. BUt for marvel, they are on the ball right now. ghost rider then spiderman 3 next year, damnnnn.

Thats the thing i knew i woulndt like ibut expected to see alittle of the known characters but they didnt give them time. I mean Colossus almost got better airtime in X2 than in this movie...

Angel one of the fricking original X-men who have been in the comics since the start in the 60's was used so horrible.

Hugh Jackman says they don't have any plans to do a fourth installment in the franchise. They want to do a Wolverine moive and a Magneto movie. But no plans for a X4.

No I haven't seen the movie yet. That's why I'm trying not to read too much of your posts.

About the plans for an X4, I don't mean that they won't ever do any more sequels. I just mean tha it's not going to happen for a while. Unless they decide to change their plans.

Nope, I thought Sin City had better actors.

I didn´t counted Sin City because of the "super hero" thing, although i do agree that the actors in Sin City were perfect for the film.

Some of the characters for X-Men were cast very well. Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Kelsey Grammer all nail their parts (especially Kelsey). Halle Berry is okay, she's eye-candy at best I think though.

As to X3 itself, I liked it best of the series. For reference, I don't read paper comics. I haven't read even one cell of X-Men in my life, so as to continuity concerns I could care less. I'm seeing these movies as entertainment as Joe Six Pack, with a nerd kicker. The price of admission alone is worth hearing Vinnie Jones intone the now infamous line. The movie was entertaining to me, and I enjoyed it throughout. The little bastards that kept talking and moving around in front of us (saw it with The Fallen, Rosiel and Tempest) kind of annoyed me at the start and end but oh well... that's what I get for seeing the midnight showing on the second night of release.

right, so i just saw X3. pretty much what i expected. i was/am a big fan of the old animated series and the orig. comic, so i was a prick about characters. wolverine actually was okay, but he seemed to be very manji like in this one ( which is not so cool, since he isn't manji)
Rouge is the only character i had a big problem with. originally she was so bad-ass. now she's this annoying confused teenagers. i thought we had enough of those!!

WHERE THE FUCK IS GAMBIT?!?!?!!? i love him, but now he doesn't even exist in the movie. they have fucking shadowcat, but no gambit...fuckers.

and that girl with the yellow jacket..

there two--
http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/2116 ... new1xf.jpg

where are they?

Storm overall sucks because she doesn't look like she is was storm at all. She is supposed to be from africa. I hate that short ugly hair. the white eye thing they got dead on, but overall, storm was lost. she used to be such a cool, deep voiced african woman. but i dunno, storm was never my favorite character.

Rouge was one of them. too bad they fucked up her character so much.

so the movie as a whole; the special effects were really good and the acting was pretty good as well. i am used to the ending of where Phoenix sacrificed herself to save everyone, however, i think there are a lot of different ending to exactly how she dies. ( so i understand) but her character was well acted i thought.

so---good movie!

i dont think there will be a X4, considering X3 was called "the LAST stand". but i understand if they want to do a story on wolverine. his background is so fucking cool. and they really didn't explain much in the movies. of course, they might have to go into how the "cure" eventually wears off and stuff, i guess. we'll just have to go and see.

Ghost rider is something i will probably end up seeing, but not something i am particularly looking forward to. looks like it will be well done CG wise though.

The lack of Gambit has annoyed everyone who has read the comic or watched the animations.

Jubilee is the girl in the yellow jacket.

These movies havent much in common with origianals they are more of the Ultimate X-men comics who are a new or alittle diffrent take on X-men.

Rogue is a noob like the one in the movies in Ultimate.

I really expected to at least see a cameo of gambit. I mean after his name came up in X2.
