I think they say we need 5 minuts of sunlight a day, you could just play 5 minutes of video of the sun per day and be set for life.

Thats a real good pic, Sarah.

the 'real' face and hair stands out a lot from the rest of the picture which is all charcoal and sketchy.
the impression i got from your original sketch was that there was this fire on the ground that was melding with his long hair. turned out it wasnt suppose to be like i imagined.

other than that it looks real pro.
=)
Yes I've put real pictures for the face and hair textures The background too is made of photographies and I've added abstract drawings. If the character stands out too much, it might just be a brightness/contrast issue. I've got an old computer screen so everything is darker for me.

thanks for your comments I appreciate.

You mean you don't like the photoshopping I've done and should leave it as a plain drawing ? I don't think it would fit the actual purpose of the drawing, wich is to be in a music album booklet.

It was a stunning sunset today. Here's just one of many great photos I took of it.

"The Big Three."

My most professional looking work to date.

Except for Wonder Woman's legs, I fucked those up.

Drawing women is fucking hard.

Superman looks a little retarded too.

Batman looks awesome though.

*golf clap*

I was about to write the same things you said, except I don't see what's wrong with WW's legs. Supes does look a little bit off, reminds me of Bizzaro actually. It still looks great though, especially Batman. It's kind of coincidental you post that picture on the same day I read through "Kingdom Come" at Borders

I can't really explain it, but it just doesn't look as good as it should. Her face came out pretty well though.

I had a big breakthrough in my pencil work the other day, I basically have a "slow the fuck down" drilled into my head whenever I grab a pencil now, among other things. I've been doing some pretty good stuff since.

The above drawing came soon after that breakthrough.

I should post a Superman/Batman drawing I did a few months ago, it looks like shit in comparison.

Funny thing, in both of those drawings I was just going to draw Superman, but the empty space begged for a Batman (and a WW in the second drawing).

PS: I drew that shizzle at work.

:smoken:

EDIT: Oh, another thing is that I wanted Wonder Woman to be flying further in the background but I failed miserably at that, she's about the same size as Batman in that drawing.

I think it is Wonder Woman's left leg (the right leg in the drawing) that comes into question. The bottom of it seems to come down a tad too low. Other than that the picture kicks ass, and honestly the leg is not even that big of a deal. I think Sups looks great. I sure can't draw like that. Props to you Femto.

ya, the left leg looks a little off...that and it looks like she is preping to take it from behind lol. also superman almost looks like terminator on his right side. it also seems a little odd to me that WW has a pointy chin, seeing as how everyone else's doesn't.

either way really good job :P

lol

That was done only six weeks ago, looks like shit in comparison.

"Slow the fuck down" FTW.

Batman's cape looks pretty cool though.

I'm afraid I'm just not reliable with stuff like that.

People will just ask for shit and I might do two or three and then it'll just pile up.

Still, throw some shit around and I might do something interesting.

Doing my "own" Batman would actually be kinda interesting but I'm not really good with character designs right now, I'm just working on basic figure drawing.

And you can't improve perfection, I'm pretty sure I'll just make something that's too similar to the original costume.

Lastly, it's not ability or skill, it's pure unadulterared practice.

if anything, if you let people suggest things, choose the most interesting instead of doing them all.
