I think it is possible that Farnase could be left behind. Its not weird that she learned how to use magic and then they drop her, I think Miura was just showing how much she changed. From burning witches at the stake to using magic herself. And they don't need her to watch Casca, I thought the whole reason for going to Elfheim was so they could leave her there and she would be safe. What good would Farnase be once they ditch Casca?

It would be weird if thats what happens though. It would just be Gatts, Ishidoro, Silke, and the elves. I would like to see them all stick together. Maybe something will happen in Elfheim and they wont be able to leave Casca there, or Elfheim wont even be there at all.

I noticed the Tow one but not the other. But I assumed and went on. No one is perfect. And if it was me doing it the list woudl be a whole lot longer. Probably one error a speech balloon.

Hmm, but even though the women were thin, didn't Farnese have bigger tits in this chapter than before? Before she was had very small tits, these were quite notable.

Well, never mind me...

*Edit:* Hmm, well, not so notable after all. They just appeared in a different shape than usual :) */Edit*

I think they were more or less the same, they just seemed bigger cuase she was so boney. They were bigger relative to herself. But they still seemed on the small size. But in general Miura doesn't draw large breasts like some other Manga and Anime. Some out there I don't think they can even draw small breasts. I don't think there is a single female in all of Tenjou Tenge with small breasts.

Well you also have to think back to the general type of timeframe the manga is in.

Back in the middle/dark ages there wasn't a lot of food to go around in poorer/warring countries (unless you were a noble). Not to mention they're on the road without any pack animals so they're most likely carrying light or scrounging what they can find on the way.

Yeah they were living the poor life. They were scavenging for there food. You see that in several chapters, they looking for veggies and stuff and hunting for meat. So they were limited on what they could eat, so it does make sense. Its amazing Guts is still as big as he is. But then again, he is inhuman.

You guys are reading an aweful lot into exposed ribs and large breasts.

Too much Serpico/Farnese setup for there to be no greater payoff before their characters are finished(if ever). A good author will know better.

Unless he wants to throw us a major unexpected curveball. Maybe they come back later. Who knows. But in general I think they are going to stay with Guts and friends.

I hope they dump Farnese and maybe find a new member of the Guts team, one who is more intresting than Farnese.

I just wish for Guts to go back to being the center of the story. So far these new characters are not as interesting as the ones found during the Golden Age arc. The stories themselves haven't been as good either since the fight with Grunbeld. I am reserving full judgment until I see what comes next though, just because I know Miura is a good storyteller and I trust in what he has done previously.

I'm sure he'll manage to make these characters more interesting with time.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure Farnese COULD even stay there, unless she was killed. Didn't Silke see a vision of the whole city in ruins?

Hey... maybe that's what Guts does to the city when he goes to free Farnese (one can dream, right  )
Indeed.

I'd too say that the story hasn't progressed much for quite some time. guts had a bit of a side role lately. however there isn't much more to know about hin, so i think this is ok. but I'm pretty positive that it's just foreplay for a interesting new arc. before giving a character depth you need to build him up . people need to have an image first, then there is a need for unusual/extreme circumstances to show the real self. I mean everyone bahave's more or less "normal" when the situation is normal, but when hell breaks lose you might be surprised.

This last chapter was a very good chapter, IMO. It got everything going again. It has a new problem arise, they have the ship. The last chapter may not seem like it but it had a decent amount of stuff happen, and it was one of the most humorous chapters to date.

Puck is a he. But it has been awhile since he has said anything. But there has been other comic relief and we still see him in the the corner of hte picks and stuff doing something humorous.

Mmmm.. how can you can define Puck as a he, even though it is clearly gender neutral? Notice the lack of genitalia, meaning that Puck is genderless. Puck is a perfectly suitable name, not he or she.

We can also use 'it'
it - pronoun
Used to refer to that one previously mentioned. Used of a nonhuman entity; an animate being whose sex is unspecified, unknown, or irrelevant; a group of objects or individuals; an action; or an abstraction: polished the table until it shone; couldn't find out who it was; opened the meeting by calling it to order.

Though he has the hots for the other elf, which does have some female shape. So we can assume he is male, or a flat chested lesbian.

But he is pretty much genderless, and femine at that. But I think all elves are that way.

Polite or not, it would be more impolite to refer to someone without gender with a gender biased name. Use their proper name if you are worried about being impolite to a fictional character.

I call him he cause even though he is genderless he looks like a male as much as the other elf looks a female.

Well actually he/she/it acts quite maskuline so i would rather refer it as as a he than a she/it :o)
