Went in to Anchorage for training and saw V for Vendetta which was a Very Virtuous Video Very Violent Vindicating, and Vindictively... God I loved that part (watch the movie and you will know what I am talking about). 9.5/10 I was amazed that there were only two Matrixee scenes and both rocked ass.

Also saw benchwarmers which was hilarious. David Spade and Rob Schneider at there best... John (Dynamite) was way too stupid for me, and throwing the bat got old after the third time  but over all good funny stuff.

Fuji Nagase wrote:i agree, V for Vendetta was much better than i thought. i ahd read about half of the comic a while ago, so i knew the idea, but i thought they would fuck it up for sure. V was really good and the whole cinematography was beautiful as well. i guess it just is very strong because it is so possible.

the day after i saw it my brother made my the egg on toast thing. it could have been egg in a hole too.. i dont know. but it was damn good, just like she said.

i think im going to have to see silent hill. ive been reading some of the american comics and i like the art, so now i just have to see the movie.
about time someone noticed my post. Right now there is only two movies i want to see, silent hill and Thank You for Smoking.

Maybe I missed the post, but did anyone see "Date Movie"?

I saw it a lil while ago. It was more stupid then funny. After watching it I felt kind of bad. The movie felt plagiarized and uninspired. Normally no one would look into a comedy like that but it completely ripped off the Wayans Bros. style and executed quite poorly.

I don't recommend this one for anyone. 3/10

Their style being what? Plagiarism?

Oddly enough, that's not in the comic. I've been reading it and I was suprised that a Hollywood writer could do something that smart.

Finally, I watched "V" at the cinema yesterday, I think a very good film. But I don´t think it becomes number one in the most watched films at England. XDD

I´ve watched too, My wife is a ganster, not bad, an amusing film(6/10), and Hostel, well, if I´m sincere I expected more from this film. Too weak. (6/10)

Are you asking what the Wayans Bros. style is? The comedies they make are usually off the wall and cross lines but in a clever funny way. What the writer/director of Date Movie tried to do was offend as many people as they could and ended up with a stale monochromatic performance. I even heard people behind me saying: "Man here they go trying to be like Keenan Ivory Wayans again ..." There were a couple of chuckles here and there, but the movie didn't feel fresh.

I would had rather watched the movies they copied then this one.

Maybe I just dont get the Wayans bros humor. But their Scary movies are just like Date Movie(or vice-versa), they simply copy other movies and poke fun at them with some crude humor mixed in. Junior high kids do the same thing, its mildly amusing, but mostly inane.

Going back into anchorage and I am going to watch more movies.... I forgot to tell you guys that in Anchorage tickets are at 9.25 for regular ticket, but I use to work at the Century 16 Movie theatre (best Movie theatre in alsaka) so I still get in for free.

God I loved working at a movie theatre, the only thing that sucked was working with kids who dont know how to do hard work

Oh yes Thank you for smoking look LOL funny, and take the lead looks intresting (I like movies where someone comes into turn kids lives around with a crazy ideas like dance).

Ditto.

It's poor comedy in general.

Hey man, if you're entertained by something that you know is bad, then good for you.

Whatever floats your boat.

While being a huge Silent Hill fan, I'm skeptical about this movie. The commercial still looks a typical horror movie. I'll still watch it though. However, I have a little bit of hope after hearing about a disturbing part involving pyramid head. So who knows, it may be good after all.

Wow, 9.25 to see a movie.

Here at my theater the late night show only costs 5 bucks. I forget how much the early show is.

Really the only movie that im looking forward to seeing is the new X-Men.
