"It" was horrible! Big fricken spider, not scary.

I'll give you props for Alien though. This is a tough poll/question. There hardly isn't anything scary worth mentioning.

Doom3 being the exception, surround sound up full blast, midnight, no lights... drunk. :D

Exorcist still gives me the willies though.

I'd say one of the scariest movies is 'In the Mouth of Madness' mainly because the first time I watched it, I was tripping on shrooms and it was a bad trip, making it all that much scarier. I no longer do drugs but when I've watched the movie again, it's pretty messed up since it plays with your mind. There's parts that repeat and it makes you think that the dvd is scratched or something and just stuck on one part but it's not.

You guys will probably disagree with me but i must say that Boogeyman was friggin scary. I usually dont get scared easily at all. But I guess it triggered something for me because in my youth I was Terrified of the closet and of Chucky(but thats a whole nother story) For me resident evil one had the scariest affect for me. Especialyy when the dogs broke through the window. I was yelling and panicing like a little school girl..

The Resident Evil games were good. Movie was just entertaining. But I don't find most movies scary. There are a few good ones out there, just can't think of any right now. But Resident Evil the game was good.

Silent Hill has its creepy moments, but I don't really scare that easy. I really enjoy the series though. I'm a big fan of survival horror in general. I cut my teeth on Resident Evil and have been digging the genre ever since.

I've finished most Resident Evil games, both Parasite Eve games and the last 4 Silent hill games.
After all that I still think to this day that Resident Evil I - Directors Cut is the scariest...
The bad graphics soo add to the effect

The camera angles is what did it for me. Made is feel more like a movie. You could jsut hear them coming, but didn't know from where. Just a really cool concept.

Here’s a funny story. First you need to know that I had broken my collarbone by doing a stunt on a trampoline. Basically I leapt forward and did a front flip. The catch of the trick is that I then do a back flip, while coming off of the first bounce after the front flip. So I go into the back flip directly after the front flip. It’s actually a little harder than it sounds. Anyway, when I landed the back flip, I had too much momentum, and flew off the trampoline. I had done it several times before then, but things just didn't work out this time. Well, I landed on the back of my shoulders and SNAP!

Okay, so here’s the point. I’m playing RE2, and you know the scene where the licker bursts in through the two-way mirror? Well, it was the first time I’d ever played the game, so I had no idea it was coming. My left arm was in a sling at the time, and then BAM! The licker burst into the room through the glass, and I jumped. This caused me an extreme amount of pain from the sudden jolt to my collarbone. I was momentarily incapacitated by agony. However, I managed to recover in time to make that licker bastard pay dearly for what he had done. Shotgun blast straight to the face bitch! Point blank range fucker, eat that!

That is funny. Another thing with that game is ammo was not overly abundant, and you had to conserve. I remember running through the game with the knife most of the time. Then see something that I can't kill and run to the nearest chest to get more weapons or ammo.

hmmm scariest movie of all time would have to go to Excorcist. At the time it was released it had people scared shitless. Also as ridiculous as it may sound it was supposed to be based on a true story except the little girl was a boy, and noone died.

Scariest game: dunno..... i've always wanted to check out Fatal Frame 2, heard it was supposed to be real freaky.
