There isn't a female in Transformers because they're asexual creatures living in Cybertron. But I'm pretty sure that Soundwave guy is gay, or is just Megatron's bitch.

there are female transformers... in the original series there is a pink bot. And in the beast war saga they constantly talk about how female bots would walk around without their breast plates in certain bars on cybertron.

I wasn't aware there was a pink bot but it sounds vaguely familiar, I might be thinking about some other anime like Getter Robo or something.

The comics say that all transformers originated from one ancester called Primus who had a creation matrix with him, and through the process of asexual reproduction created a whole horde of transformers. But that's what the people at Marvel wrote and we all know they're fucked up in the head.
