got around to see "The Fantastic 4".
And well... It sucked actually, and then I even am a fan of the comic.

Why the hell didn´t Ben turn back to like he was in the end when all they needed was a little more power (move the machine beside a powerplant perhaps??). And how did he turn back to "The thing" all by himself in the apartement? Did he use Telekinesis to turn on the power when he was inside of it? And my last complaint is, how could he switch back to "The Thing" without Dr Doom as a power source when the power that they had in the apartment wasn´t enough in the first place to make him normal??

More spoilers:
The reason Ben didn't turn back is the same reason he doesn't in the comics, even though he is ugly, he can work for a greater good. He can't do much of anything as a normal Ben Grimm, but as the Thing he can at least save the world a few dozen times over. Plus he has a blind girlfriend, so at least he's getting some action. And as far as the machine thing, here is my understanding of it: The machine replicates the effects of the cosmic storm that changed all of them. The idea was to make a storm that was the exact opposite frequency or whatever that the original storm was on and that would reverse the effects. The risk was that the machine could A.)Do nothing since the storm frequency made by it could be the same as the original. B.) Make their powers worse with another frequency. C.) Cure them with the opposite one or D.)Kill them somehow. It appeared to do nothing when Reed tried it out (I assume the weakness was just a side effect, like how they were all laid out for a while after the original storm) so therefor the machine made the same storm as before and wouldn't do anything to a changed person (Like the 4 or Von Doom). It seems the machine needed power to make the right type of storm to cure them, which Victor provided. Since the original Un-Doom-Powered machine would only duplicate the original storm, regular Ben Grimm used it to "Thing-Out" when he got tricked by Doom. Then came "Clobberin' Time"

I believe that's from "A Night with Kevin Smith". It's basically 2 hours or so of him doing Q&A at different colleges. My buddy has the DVD but we have yet to watch all it. I wouldn't mind asking Smith a few things myself, mainly about his comic book writing. Like why it took him 3 goddamn years to write a 6-part comic series. That and how one actually gets to write for Marvel/DC.
Is that all there is? Seems fake.Malvado wrote:Soul Calibur the movie

Saw "Kiss kiss, Bang Bang".
That movie was so hilarious. I say everyone should watch it.
Now I´m gonna watch "Wolf creek"
Edit: Now I´ve seen "Wolf Creek" and well, it was a tad to short I thought.
The fact that it was based on true event´s (According too the witness that didnt see all that much to begin with) added to the scare factor but I didnt really get scared once. It was an ok movie.
And they even had 2 Swedish talking people in this one

Sorry, Ultraviolet is actually starting to look like it might actually be decent enough to enjoy, at least a little. Who knows, I may end up really liking it. I mean, it has Milia Jovavich in it, and I like her. From what I've seen in the previews, her form is looking pretty acceptable too, even better if some of it is done by a highly trained stunt double. It's also being made by the guy who did Equilibrium, and not that bastard Boll. Plus, since it's supposed to be an "original" idea, there shouldn't be too much to complain about, since they're not trying to directly emulate a pre-existing story. Just thought I'd put that out there.
