Thats why i stay away from those comics.

By the way im on issue nr 10 of Amazing Spiderman, its good to see that Spidey had his good humor even back then. It keeps the campy feeling of a 60's comic away.

Heh i coulndt stop laughing when JJ Jamison gave PP his money for the photos and said go get yourself some Twist records haha

I have just recently read Part 12 of 'Evolve or Die', where Spider Man used some of his new powers to the test, saving a little girl from a collapsed building site. It seems like that he will be getting a new costume next issue, as Tony Stark is building one at the last page, confirming that the reborn Peter is indeed the real Peter. What a fucking mess.

i love the ultimate spiderman game... even in there he has that great sense of humor....

Spidey jumps up behind Rhino
"Say is that a rhinocerus horn or are you just happy....."
Rhino straightens up ends up beeing 2 times as tall as spidey
"Ok i am just to scared to even finish my lame joke right now"
And then spidey get's smacked into a wall

That game is best fricking game i have played in a long time.

It was awesome listening to him joke when you kick villains asses.

I liked how you could just swing away all day long. Great spiderman moves, nice boss fights. I only wish it was longer.

Being Venom and kicking Wolverine's ass was sweet.

If they dont make a sequel i will go crazy.

Hehe Rhino boss fight was sweet, i liked that you have jump around like a fool to survive.

Nice Pic Femto

Just a tought on the whole mutated evolution thing, in the cartoon the amazing spiderman he teams up with the x men to find a cure for his mutation but I never got to see the end. Anyway if he didnt fixs is evolving Mutation than he would most likely grow four more arms and some more eyes and actual spider silk from his ass. :P

Wow, that's an awesome piece of Spider Man art.

I figure I should become a writer for Marvel. Or I'll get my dog to.

I'm still far from being able to work at Marvel though.

There are a lot of things that are just wrong with that drawing, Spidey's back in particular.

Still, drawing a Spider-Man comic is one my personal goals in life.

The Spider-Man cartoon is arguably what launched me into this career, so I have a really soft spot for the character.

As if that hadn't been made clear in this thread already.

Thats back looks little off but the rest of the pick is pretty good.

Heh the animation was my first contact with Spidey too which also gave me a soft spot for him and made me read the comic.

Halfnhalf:

What do you mean owned, how would i know his major. I might have read about it in the college thread but didnt remember.

Who knows what Femto was thinking when he was drawing Spider Man? Only he alone knows...

Just saw the cover of Amazing 529. It's drawn pretty badly for a cover, and the costume sucks terribly. I did like Spidey's House of M costume though, that was a bit stylish without re-vamping anything major.

Yeah, the House of M costume is pretty cool. I find myself a fan of the more exagerated eye costumes, since they tend to do the costume and character as slim and muscular, emphisizing Spidey's reliance on aligity rather than strength.

Libaax wrote:Of course Spidey was the reason i stared reading comics twice.

The first time when my brother Shaka Zulu bought the comic in the clone saga days.

I didn't start buying in the clone saga days, I ended it(In 99 or so) some arcs after the clone saga(couldn't take it anymore...that and the endless robot or high tech villains, instead of good ol' fashion ones)). I still hate that blond fucking clone Reilly, "No, I'm the real spiderman!" crap seriously ruined my days back then(waiting for it to get better...but it going on for ever).

Just want to strangle that faggy clone fucker, and maybe somehow, the frigging writer who wrote it and ruined my love for Spiderman(and somewhat interest for comics, because I only bought and read Spidey) dies mysteriously at the same time(please dont tell me his name, I may seriously start to make plans for his assassination).

But I have to say, after reading this thread,God damn! Hear I was thinking the clone saga was the lowest of it all.

P.S Not I'm much of a comic fan(not read much, prefer manga), but what I have read have struck me to be pretty shitty stories(marvel mostly but I, like DC comics) and un-original super hero comics(not read much non-super hero ones), and I have to say I'm glad my bro started to download and collect comics these past months. Never would have read Invincible otherwise. What a great and original superhero comic it is in its own way. Reminded me of why I liked Spiderman, the humour and the parody touch of it all.

P.S II The Spiderman art pic is great Femto!
