A new Megaman franchise, more Castlevanias and Secret of Mana did it.
As soon as the re-designed version hits shelves, provided it doesn't suck of course, you can count me on the DS bandwagon.
The DS has restored my faith in Nintendo as a succesful video game company and I hope the Revolution pushes the envelope even further.
PS: I still think the dual-screen/touchscreen are bullshit gimmicks and you will most definitely NOT see me playing Nintendogs or lawyer bullshit game, but I cannot deny Castlevania and Megaman, much less Seikendensetsu.

The new DS Lite measures in at 133.0 x 73.9 x 21.5mm (as opposed to the originals size of 148.7 x 84.7 x 28.9mm) and will weigh in at about 218g (the original weighed 275g). The unit is currently set to retail in at about 16800 yen (around $145 USD).
Release Date: 2nd March 2006
It will have 4 adjustable levels of brightness.
According to IGN, the screens will be backlit like the new SPs or the Micro.
this is why you wait on buying products from nintendo, cuz you know they will change their product just to get more people to buy them. I think the new design is pretty sick, might be getting one, not sure yet...

I've wondered the same thing ever since I found out they were brothers.
It's more than a little strange to talk to your brother via a message board when he's sitting in the next room.
He askes questions on the boards, so I answer on the boards. He is usually out and about or it is late at night when I see what he has been posting about as well, so I just answer then and have him just read it later.
