Volume 68! Score! Man, I love Ippo so much. I can't wait to see Sendo's next fight. Broccoman is hilarious, right? Dude, did you guys see the crazy KO Ippo put on Karasawa! That was one of the most devastating KO's we've seen. Damn, then Manabu got all crazy on Imai, it was awesome. Imai is damn cool too though. I can't wait to read 68!

This fight is looking really boring, I hope something good happens or that it ends fast.

I think the fight looks interesting cause its the first time he meets somone who doesnt have a move to beat Ippo but a tricks that might work against him. Also Take hasnt been knocked out even once so he is must really good at taking hits.

Starnum: Ippo's power is soo high now that i felt sorry for Karasawa cause he was the first one to feel so much pain.

Itagaki is alot better than i thought,it was awesome seeing him dogde killing punch after another. When he has a counter or a punch that can hurt like Miyata has he will very hard to beat. I cant wait to see him fight again.

I dont think anyone in HNI has the ability of Itagaki when it comes to judging distance and dogding. He doesnt just use foot speed as Miyata but he can dogde standing still like it was nothing.

Hm, so first I have to wonder how good Take is. It might go to a decision, that would be a long fight. Unless Ippo's the one man who can knock him out. Heh, I think he just might be. I guess we'll see, I can't wait.

As for Ippo man, he's leveled up, like Luffy and shit; it's pretty amazing really. I feel like everyone else, I think the veteran will break underneath him like this. You can see that he's looking straight ahead. I don't think anything will stop him from reaching Miyata this time.

Oh, and then the Star Rookie, Itagaki. Yeah, he's prime stock for Kamogawa Gym. His dodging skill is unbelievable, it was like he was out-boxing an in-fight. He really is a natural, but will he be able to inherit Ippo's belt. Even if he does, could he keep it from Sendo? Maybe Sendo will go to Jr. Light after Mashiba gives up the national belt, hm.

I would like if Sendou went jr.light to fight out with Mashiba,Vorg.

And leave japanese featherwight for the new generation Itagaki,Imai,Hoshi.

Man i wanna see Sendou fight again,he need to comeback to spotlight as Kamogawa said he is too good to not box.

About the Take match,i think it will be a long long match cause he has apparently a body that can take a beating and he must have some tricks that makes Ippo so frustraated that he forgots how to box as he does normaly. Cause it doesnt matter how good you are at taking hits if you dont make him uneasy or something. Only one punch will kill you.

Obs im so used to write about Taka.

Speaking about him, according to media people in vol 68 later in this year Taka will go after his third title or defend one of his cause they were talking about how much Taka would do this year.

I'm waiting for Ippo vs Miyata, and if the mangaka insists on delaying this match anymore, I'll personally :whip: him when I go to Japan in May

I really dont like Itakagi. I dont know why but I think he's really unneccesary. But if he must stay in the manga..then he must. But yea if he doesn't find some kind of strong punch hes not going far as a boxer. I mean he can duck and dodge as much as he wants, but if every match is going to be dragged on to a decision then his career as a boxer will be short.

Yeah getting a hard punch is the easy part, there arent many who have the skills that Itagaki have.

Even Kimura found a knock out punch, the fish punch. Im sure a genius like Itagaki will find his punch very soon, maybe harder of those multipunches he used against Imai.

Well, I doubt all of his matches will go to decision, because all of his foes won't be as stout as Imai. I think Itagaki is pretty cool, personally. His hand speed is insane too. That porcupine maneuver is pretty impressive, right?

Yeah that was very impressive.

I wonder what he will do to gain little more power in his punches.

He will need a stronger punch against Sendou's Kuhai.

Sendo is cool, his kouhai is gay. Ippo is cool his kohai is gay....

Funny how things work out like that.

As a huge ippo fan I feel I have to contribute something to this thread even if it is not very significant. To everyone not familiar with Ippo manga. snoopycool has a torrent for Ippo containing volumes 1-65! Volumes 66-68 are availible for download separately. One of the longest and most addicting manga series I have ever stumbled across.
