It's Ruuppa. And no, I'm european, so we have crappy serverspsi29a wrote:yeah... so, ruupa, you playing on darkspear yet?

Let me just say this about Priests: Go for the Shadow-line on Talents. Why? Because Psychic Scream/Power Word: Pain/Mind Blast are about the best aggressive spells for a Priest, and you WILL use them if you know what's good for you. And a 10% chance to stun every time you damage them is fun

Shisho: You're the first person to ever tell me that. I was always told to just not waste your money buying weapons at lower levels. Just use quest items and get guildies to make shit for you. I was always told unless i see some crazy deal then not to buy it. Mainly because you will waste all your money because at lower levels, finding weapons that are better then the one you spent all that money on are easy.

I think buying good equips at lower levels(I assume we're talking about AH here) is wise only if you have financial back-up from a higher lvl character. For your first character to buy equips from AH at low levels is BIG waste.
Better to save for later. And you can grab good equips from all over really easily, so it's not that big a whoop. But if you have extra money for it, go for it

Nearly impossible to dual wield Cruel Barbs
. Simply because they drop quite rarely from VC, that even in my 30+ runs I've only seen it drops 2-3 times.

Went for a DM run for a Cruel Barb
A lvl 15 Warlock INSISTED on being the lure, the end result being that we were swamped by a mini-boss, 3 pirates and 2 goblins on the last part of the ship.

i was reading the strats for VC instance, interesting because it does seem to involve a lot of cordination between team mates which is great IMHO. As shisho said, (paraphrase) 'don't be a dick, or you will be booted out parties later on'.
Anywho, I'm trying to give up on loch modan, but sometiems quests have me go out there. For now you guys can find me in westfall area.
lvl 15 as of last night.

Hehe.
Thanks Shishio for the tip. I went with your 'guild mate' or whoever he is druid build. Works great.
Im level 29 so far.
Had a great duel vs an alliance shadowpriest.
We cast our spells and healed over the time until it came down to...
Staff vs wand!!
Haha I laughed like hell when we were bashing each other with no mana left. I came out of the battle as the victorious.
Some points irritates me like hell though. I was going by the zeppelin to undercity and when we were out in like middle of the sea the zeppelin just dropped all of the passengers including me. Like wtf fix those bugs blizzard :/. Also invisible mobs are annoying

I actually had someone ninja the Cape of the Brotherhood when I was running VC with a group, and I hounded the guy and even made a macro to broadcast over general that he had looted the cape. Even posted it on the forums =X.
He sent me a /tell like a week later thanking me in a not so gracious way because he couldn't get into a group practically where at least one person hadn't read what I had said about him, and promptly put me on ignore.
Good times.
